If you love lavender, you should definitely visit these fields. Even if you don't want to pick lavender under the scorching sun, a walk through this field will give you pleasure. Near the field you can buy bags in which you are allowed to pick lavender and scissors. Various lavender souvenirs are also sold there - spray, eau de toilette. In the nearest village there are many souvenir shops with lavender products - gin, oil, shampoo, etc.

Great source for levander harvest. The national park officers are providing a paper bag sized amount for levander collection for approximately 7 pound sterling. Also they will give you a special sc8ssor for nice and easy trim. The place is easily accessible by walk just after passing the cemetery. Levander has numerous was to use and this field will provide a mass of levander for you. :)

Unfortunately we went on the off season. In 30th of April. There were no lavenders. Our bad. But we didn’t have any information about when to visit. As a foreigner we have no idea when to visit. You should check the timing first. But the road it self was very nice. If you want to explore the beauty of the nature, it might be a good decision.

The Lavender Fields in Tihany are very nice and beautiful, the small is very nice and there are many bees and butterflies everywhere. It is a nice place to walk and to enjoy the space and the views.
