Marcali Spa and Leisure Center

Considering it's a small town spa, we had a great time. The staff is incredibly nice, and although it's not a 21st century design, they take care of cleanliness. There's a small sauna, steam, plunge pool, thermal pool and a 25-meter swimming pool. All this for 3,000 forints. It's well worth it.
The swimming pool is okay, the sauna is too small as it's very busy and needs to be enlarged. The showers aren't good because the hot water is usually gone, even though we've been there several times. The shower heads are all calcified and the water flow is very low.
If I could, I wouldn't give it a single star. No one could be reached on the phone, their website hasn't been updated in 4 years. Other sites said that the outdoor spa pool is open all year round. At the cash register, it was only mentioned …

We were delighted that it's now possible to bathe in the outdoor thermal pool in the afternoons, even in winter. There are pleasant whirlpools and massage jets. We'll definitely be back.
