Marcali Spa

Avoid from afar!! We were there last year, then they made people wait for 20 minutes, if one came out then another could come in. 🙈 There was almost nothing in the only buffet, not even what was written 🙈 We gave it another chance this year, but we are locals, we have nice memories here. Well, it shouldn't have been. It's open until 8, in principle, swimming tickets after 5. I arrived at 7:1, they didn't want to let me in, they told me from Foshegy that the cash register closed at 7, I think they could go home earlier. There were 5 of us there, the boss woman, they looked at me like what am I doing here at 7, get out of here. I've never seen such arrogant, inflexible management. This beach is not for guests. My family members were there, and the "boss" told them that you can only drink at the bar 🙈 I don't have anyone I know who hasn't had some kind of conflict here. We came to swim, not because the "management" has better things to do with us.🙈 In the end, they were very reluctant to let me go to the beach with my family members, on the condition that I can't swim! She strictly forbids it! 🙈Emphasizing this, the boss didn't let me go from there, like a "bodyguard" 😂 it was all a joke. I seriously recommend that if you want to relax, you should avoid this beach!!
We arrived at the very start of the summer season and were frankly shocked... the place looked old and worn out, despite being decently maintained. The entire area literally florished in front of our eyes, with the staff placing the flower pots and decoration, cleaning and preparing the external pools and beach area. The housing was excellent - everything one needs for a short or long-term stay, convenient and clean. The only disadvantage from what we saw, was the lack of playground or kids corner for younger children. We haven't tried the kitchen on site. All in all, looks great for couples or seniors, slightly less so for families with young children, yet we would happily return!
It was my first time at the Kapuvár swimming pool. I wasn't sure if it would be good for me. But the staff was so nice that I stayed. Vali and Márti were polite and helpful. They showed me everything, where it was, how the system worked. I will definitely be back. The water is great, there were few people (on Monday). The only thing missing was a hairdryer. But basically I recommend it to everyone! There is green vegetation around, if you look outside you can see the peace and beauty. Thank you again!
Personally I had a good time there :) We visited there one Sunday afternoon around 1 pm. The reception lady gave us information that it is 1100porints only:afternoon discount. The facility is not the best but I enjoyed spending time there. With the price I think it is a nice spa. Just one thing... there was no sauna. I hope I can use sauna there someday soon! Thanks again.
At the ice cream parlor, the girls added up the prices of the ice creams incorrectly. They corrected it in time. They could really add some shade to the warm (heated) baby pool, because the little ones have to be in the hot sun. Anyway, it's not bad in terms of price-value :)
