Maros Kalandpart Makó

The adventure park is easy to access if you go on the Small Train (Kisvonat) which runs from the town centre. Staff at the ropes or bungee swing are reasonably friendly (although a bit reluctant to help) and they speak good English. (Some retarded locals might make fun of you if you are from another country but don't let this put you off.) The walk to the Lombkoronasetany is pleasant and staff at the entrance are very nice. My son is a daredevil 8-year-old and obviously he couldn't stop himself from sliding down the very steep tunnel twice. The River Maros is a pleasant sight in the south of Hungary.

Great place to cool off in the summer heat! Free of charge to visit and use the beach. The Challenge course has various fees, depends on what you want to do on it, but it is very reasonable priced! Toilet, showers, changing facilities and sun lounges are available for free. Lifeguard on duty in the season! Food and drinks are as well available. ADVICE: please RESPECT THE WATER! It is a fast flowing river, the sand-bed could change very easy and quick from one day to another! Always ask the lifeguard on duty of the recommended area to be safe to swim!

Even though this is a free natural beach there are life guards! Fantastic! The water is clean but be very careful as it is fast flowing. No charge for sunbeds and there are plenty. The adventure park has a good selection for all abilities. The zipp wire and the giant sling is for everyone and great fun. Staff are helpful and always ready to give advice on the best way to complete the challengeing obstacle course.

Very cool and a great setting. The trampolines are great especially for kids 3-10 years old. There are 2 different obstacle courses: one for kids, one for teenagers and up. Remember shoes (sandals won’t work for this). The true gem here is the beach, though. Tiny river beach, but really lovely for a dip. The river water flows fast! But it’s really refreshing! Also perfect for Kano or Kayak.

The place is beautiful, unfortunatelly there is no possibility to walk next to the river.... Why is everything private land piece? The cars are always coming and going on the street where u walk. The park is good for kids to play in, but as it stands now, it has a lot more potential just like the surroundings.
