Public Road Exhibition

I read about the place in a Facebook group, it was worth the trip. Our almost 2-year-old son loved it, as did we. The entrance fee is 800 HUF, which is very cheap by today's standards and very worth it, there is also a model exhibition upstairs, which we were also lucky enough to see. There are interactive activities for young and old inside, and in the courtyard you can see a lot of old vehicles and road construction and maintenance machines. If we lived closer, we would go more often. Very good relaxation.

Fantastic place. I work in road surveying myself, but it was good to see the old techniques, especially "Józsi's" road roller. To see the progress in this industry. The entrance fee is 600 HUF, which I think is affordable. It's worth bringing the kids, there are many interactive programs waiting for them. There is a buffet here, and high-quality toilets! We were geocaching, so we went in to look for the cache, but I would recommend the exhibition for those who are really interested in road traffic, road building and road repairs. The vast majority of the exhibits are old machines associated with the traffic and maintenance of roads. Nicely kept old road signs were also there. It was fun.

Kiskörős, Road History Museum, Public Road Collection, has been presenting relics of road and bridge construction and maintenance in an area of approximately 548 square meters covered and nearly 10 thousand square meters open since 1968. This collection is a unique exhibition material in the country, a rich collection.

I never thought it would be so interesting to see such a collection. We use these "artifacts" every day, but we just drive past them. We never think about how much they contribute to our daily lives. I've never used the toll gate on the M3 motorway, but here I was able to see a museum piece. It was interesting.
