Lovely day out in the summer! Went with family (1yo and 4yo) so some tips for the parents. -the route is pushchair accessible (buggy has to be folded on the train) - good playground at the top station of the train (slides may be hot though) - only bit not for pushchairs is the walk to the cave and back, but my 4yo did the hike in his own -took the train up, walked down, the walk back is easy and on tarmac so easy and safe to walk even for children - along the way you can see ducks, fish, deer - some stops along the way, even frappe which I didn’t expect 😁 you can buy a trout meal in at least 3 places - at the bottom station we bought a short pony ride and 5 mins at a bouncy castle, which our 4yo loved Recommend as an alternative to a day at the furdo 😎

A stunning place to spend your day! My partner is from Hungary, and she took me there with her family. And I was amazed at how well organised and clean was the whole park. There is a little old-school train that takes ls you to the top, and then you can make your way down to the bottom at a slow pace in a couple of hours, stopping here and there for good photo shoots or a fish and chips break (best I ever had in my life). Overall - good experience, not expensive and not far from a nearby city.

While visiting Silvasvarad, we were greeted with a wonderful little walking street with shops and food, a small park, bike rentals, a forrest train ride and an amazing walk through the forest during the fall. The veil falls left something to be desired, but the play area, vendors, and outdoor logging "museum" and the end of the train ride was all fun and beautiful this time of year.

Great place for a half day/ whole day in the nature with the family. A small train brings you in the heart of a national park. You can have a lot of fun with the children in the "forest school", have a picnic or buy locally grown fish (pisztrang), see a huge cave and a few waterfalls. Totally loved it.

We spent a beautiful morning with my kids and parents here. We took the train up the mountain and slowly walked downhill, checking out the lakes, waterfalls, museums on our way. My mom can't walk much but she could cover this quite well.
