Lake in a defunct mine, overlooked by a vast statue of Jesus & accessed by a short hillside hike.
It's definitely the best place in entire Hungary! 🇭🇺But swimming is prohibited there and you cannot jump to the transparent fresh lake from the rocks around. Maybe It depends on the geology of the locality. I recommend to visit in April and May when the water is so clear and transparent. There are so many fishes in the lake and it is the sign of the life here. This is totally habitable for diverse species. 💯
Beautiful product of mother nature. It is a place for photographers to shoot picrures of models in nature. It is a few minutes walk from the main road (about 10 min), the place is not accessible by normal cars, perhaps by 4x4. On the hike, there are many berry bushes to chew on in October.
Nice hole in the ground which filled with water so it's a lake now. It's apparently dangerous as all the signs says so. A big statue of Jesus is on the hill overlooking the lake.
A former mine and quarry turned lake. Nice clean water, as evidenced by the abundant wildlife here. It has some nice views and it allows you to sit and reflect
Looks great, infastrukture is not the best, no water, road is bad, no fishing or swimming
