Vámosi Vendégház

We stayed at the Vámos Guesthouse for the second time with a group of 13 friends. Everything is perfectly equipped and maintained, spotlessly clean everywhere, and there are many opportunities to spend your free time meaningfully: a hot tub, sauna, ping-pong, outdoor cooking, large communal spaces, excursion suggestions. Both times we received a fantastic, homemade breakfast: freshly baked, sourdough cottage cheese bun, cake, homemade eggs, salami, ham, jams. And at the wine cellar with a panoramic view of Lake Balaton, we had a perfect wine tasting in the evening from the farmer's fantastic wines, with a mouth-watering oven-baked dinner. Anikó and Ferenc! All our appreciation and thanks again.

Super incredibly nice hosts or owners or whatever they are here, we went to the Jeli Arboretum from here, but Lake Balaton is also very close. There are great things, bathing in a tub, sauna, and a great restaurant just a stone's throw from the place. Super cheap, comfortable accommodation, I think everyone feels good here.

Nice kitchen, single bath and six beds. Even when we were careful, the whole bathroom gets quite wet when showering in the bathtub (no shower curtain). The owners are very nice. They speak at least Hungarian, English, and German. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We spent a long weekend here and my little son's 4th birthday. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the garden was really enjoyed by the kids. The hosts were helpful and kind. We had a great time.

Clean rooms, tidy garden, nice hosts. It was nice to rest here after a blue tour, and it served well on a rainy day. (Roman monuments nearby, sauna, cooking, grilling, wine tasting opportunities)
