Végardó Fürdő

We visited Sárospatak Fürdő today and unfortunately left quite disappointed. We ordered 3 beers at the bar and they were some of the worst beers we’ve ever had. The pools themselves were fine, though a bit overcrowded – still an acceptable experience. The real disappointment was the restaurant. We had gyros (the mayonnaise was watery), sausages (which were just okay), and bean soup (which tasted like it came straight from a can). After eating, my wife had a stomach ache and my daughter ended up with diarrhoea. That really says everything about the food quality. Overall, the baths are okay if you’re just looking for pools, but I strongly recommend avoiding the restaurant. It was a big mistake for us.

This place doesn't change a lot in time (despite some renovations). Extremely welcoming staff/sellers and typical early 20ties vibes is what you should expect. On the other hand, no need to bring cash, everyone accepts cards and speaks Slovak/Hungarian/English as a bonus. This aquapark offers several types of outdoor pools for every category of customers. However, come early if you wanna find some empty sunbeds to rent. Selection of food products is decent, a bit limited on the coffee side. Prices are definitely very affordable.

Love this place from my childhood! It was fantastic to be there after 21 years. Payment by card or cash, possibility of renting lockers and loungers. Many kiosks with meal and drinks. Also you can find there various goods for swimming.

Prices are normal, in fastfood you can pay with card. Hungarian, English, German understand in fastfood courts. Many pools , few slides and one poll with artificial waves every hour. Few pools with thermal hot water

I grew up near this Fürdő and spent many happy days here as a child. I couldn't wait to show it to my English partner and he absolutely loved it. 😊 good pools, good food in a nice setting. …
