Pools and hot tubs are pretty decent, like 4stars, little bit of retro vibe but clean. If you are looking for sauna and know how to use it properly you won’t enjoy it. There is female and male separate finnish sauna inside and steam bath outside. Female finnish sauna was nice, but male wasn’t, it was smelly and not hot enough. Furthemore the culture of sauning in Iceland is bit weird, as they go to finnish sauna in with swimsuits, flipflops, jewelry and plastic bottles. Given this, separation doesn’t make much sense. So if you don’t want to breath in chlorine and PVC from swimsuits, you should probably skip it. It was fine as not mainstream activity and local experience for us, but wouldn’t go again.

Out dated swimming pool. The kid pool is very old and the water toys(that spray water or have buckets of water spilling) dont work. The inside pool is allso very outdated. Over all not my type of pool to go to to enjoy and relax. Again, just a personal oppinion. Id rather go with my kids to árbæjarlaug.

Don't waste your money on some of the more expensive pools and hot tubs this place is built for locals but visitors are welcomed. The staff and the customers are all very friendly and the facilities are very clean and looked after. I would definitely look at your local area for these types of pools

Compared to other swimming pools in the city, this one is the least inviting. Locker and shower rooms could use a massive overhaul. The hot hot tubs were closed when I visited, so the 39-40°C were overcrowded. Swimming pool was set up for lanes only, no place to just relax there or play.

Nice variety of pools as expected. The sauna is also pretty decent, even if the water mechanism is a bit unconventional for me as a Finnish sauna enthusiast (you don't throw water, you push a button).
