Akatsuki no Yu

This is one of two Onsens (温泉ーHot Spring) available in this area and the slightly bigger one. There is outside area too but without a good view. There are paid lockers outside and inside the bath area. Inside ones are fairly big and cheap for the size (only 100 yen). If you don’t have anything too valuable don’t need to use lockers and just putting them with your cloth is safe enough. If it’s your first time in a Onsen it’s worth reading up on the etiquette before entering.
I fully agree with the other most recent poster with his or her review. This place is unclean (women's washing area was full of hair caught in-between the showers). The outdoor bath is not in use with tissue in the pool where water is supposed to be but you are still being charged the full price. The restaurant's food is bad! My advice is do not come here and if it is a Tuesday avoid here as well.
Big déception for me ! It’s more expansif that yutaki onsen(500y) about 700 yen here but the outside pool is freezing! It’s not enjoyable to go out as the water isn’t warm enough. Very sad as the onsen is great otherwise. If the temperature is raising as all the other outside onsen I will be happy to come back. Hope you will get this comment in consideration.
The onsen was great, and the outside bath was delightful. Although the outside was not as hot as the inside bath, it was still a pleasure to soak in. The washing area also provided body soap and shampoo. But the towels will cost you roughly 300/400 yen extra. Entry is 600 yen, but if you've booked a hotel nearby, they should give complementary onsen tickets.
What is wrong with that ojisan in the front? He is very not happy that I used coupon as my tour package attach a coupon like 100 yen reduce. He warned me that you have to get out 40min even though there is 1hour 20 min before closure. There is no other onsen option you just have to endure it.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
