Akazawa Onsen Day Spa

Thermal spa featuring public & private baths with ocean views, plus a restaurant & massage services.
If you’re looking for a romantic spot with a great view of the coast while enjoying onsen, this is the place to be. The private room is full featured with a sea-view onsen tub, wash up area stocked with DHC beauty products and a sitting area (why though). The tub is plenty spacious for 2 pax (max 4) with an appropriate depth to soak to slightly below shoulder level while seated, for the average-sized folk. Goes for 5800 yen for an hour but well worth the price if you’re after a premium experience. Private bath can be booked via local phone and the parking is convenient and plenty just outside the building.
This place was voted as one of the most scenic onsen day spa in Japan and man it did not disappoint! For just under 2,000¥ (less than 20bucks) you got to enjoy a surreal view of Izu peninsula since the hotel is right next to the beach. I came in right at sunset and it was breathtaking. The facility was clean, with special baths everyday and sauna, massaging bath and outdoor bath. Truly one of my best onsen experience so far. Free shuttle bus from closest station makes this even better!
This hot springs sells COFFEE MILK from a vending machine in the first floor lounge. This is why it is the best onsen in Izu. It also has a nice onsen with a killer outdoor bath overlooking the water. It has a variety of baths, and they provide towels and a locker. But listen. They have COFFEE MILK コーヒー牛乳 in the 1st floor lounge. Get a ticket from the vending machine and bring it to the copy yet and you can have COFFEE MILK. This place has coffee milk and an onsen.
tattoo friendly onsen where the men’s and women’s levels change each day and are clearly signed. Both have beautiful infinity pool type open air onsen with an incredible view of the bay. Very relaxing vibe with helpful staff, definitely try and make it for the sunset as viewing it from the outdoor onsen is fantastic. Restaurant does good food too.
After leaving shirahama, we drove to this onsen. The facilities were amazing. The baths were clean with even body scrubbers provided. The baths also had immaculate views. I loved the infinity pool style of the baths. After a bath, we ate at the restaurant. The food was delicious and filling. I highly recommend this onsen.
