Musashino Onsen ♨️ It's about a 4-minute walk from Yoshikawa Minami Station on the JR Musashino Line, so it's easily accessible if you take the train and walk. I happened to have some business nearby, and I thought I'd stop by a public bathhouse while I was there. I searched on a map, but couldn't find any public bathhouses. I found several super sento (large public bathhouses) and hot spring bathing facilities. Among them, this one boasts a bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water, so I decided to come here. Today is Saturday, so the holiday rate is 850 yen. It's a bit more expensive than a regular public bathhouse, but the facility is clean and has a luxurious atmosphere, so perhaps it's a reasonable price? There are shoe lockers right at the entrance, and the locker keys have barcodes. You use these barcodes to pay for food and drinks from the vending machines inside the building when you leave. As for the bath itself, the changing room is spacious, and there are plenty of lockers, including many tall, narrow ones. The bathhouse was quite spacious, with roughly thirty shower stalls equipped with hoses. The indoor bath had three tubs: The first was a free-flowing hot spring bath at 40.5℃ The second was a circulating hot spring bath at 41.5℃, into which the free-flowing hot spring water flowed in. The third was a mysterious bath labeled "Craft Hot Spring" at 40.0℃ There was also an open-air bath, but the water was unclear—was it regular hot spring water? Or was it the "Craft Hot Spring"? It was unclear, but it was 40.5℃ There was also a type of outdoor open-air bath where the bottom 5-6cm of you would be submerged in water. However, a large portion of me was above the water, making it uncomfortable, so I only tried the reclining bath for a moment! Anyway, the reddish-brown sodium hot spring water felt wonderfully warm and relaxing! Ideally, it would be even better if there was a hot spring water bath where you could alternate between hot and cold baths, but this facility does not have a cold bath.

It was my first time using this facility. It's more like a local public bath than the luxurious super public baths that are popular these days. However, it's much more modern and stylish than a public bath. The bath is simple but sufficient. The temperature is a little low, but it has a hot spring bath, lukewarm water, and an open-air bath. I prefer this to a luxurious spa bath, so I was very satisfied. The price is also reasonable at 780 yen on weekdays. It's located next to an AEON Mall, and just a few minutes' drive from Costco and IKEA. I have nothing to complain about!! One thing to note is that the doors to the indoor and open-air baths are not semi-automatic, so most people left them open when they were in. Nowadays, most doors are opened manually, and the ones that close automatically slowly close automatically, so people leave them open without noticing. This is likely to cause some minor trouble, so it would be good if they could make some improvements. It was a great facility, and I would like to continue using it frequently. Thank you.

Overall, it's a calm and sophisticated space for adults. It might not be suitable for families with young children (the bath water temperature is around 41-43 degrees Celsius). There's no sauna, so it's not suitable for those who want to fully relax. It was practically empty right after opening on a Saturday (^o^;) Women's bath: around 30 washing stations (half-spaced), 3 indoor baths, 1 spacious and open open-air bath with a roof, 10 reclining baths, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and around 10 hair dryers (Dyson free!). Shoe lockers and changing room lockers are coin-operated. Vending machines and food use barcode payment via key. The dedicated food court is high-end, with various producers and pastry chefs (even the cold water and tea, which seemed free, are only for those who ate there!?). The relaxation area after bathing has a slightly dim and calming atmosphere due to indirect lighting.

The facility is located in the mall in front of Yoshikawa Minami Station. It's in the building on the left after exiting the south exit. There's no sauna, and electronic payments aren't accepted. The facility itself is new and very modern. The baths use sodium iodine from the source, and the indoor baths only have hot spring water, warm water, and lukewarm water, while the outdoor baths only have a large hot bath and a reclining bath. There seemed to be enough space to build one, but it seemed like there were some issues. The dining area is small, and the rest area is a little large. There is a bedrock bath for an additional fee, but it was empty, probably because there are only a few types of bath, there's no sauna, and the price isn't particularly cheap. It has the feel of a simple public bathhouse, and it selects its customers. It was also inconvenient that there were no trash cans.

The parking is free for the first 120 minutes, and users receive an additional 120 minutes of free parking, making it free for up to 4 hours. They explained that even if you use other facilities for shopping, it won't exceed 4 hours. (Apparently, only one 120-minute free parking ticket can be scanned.) I like to take long baths, so it's a shame I can't enjoy a leisurely meal. The price is reasonable, and I'd like to come again. If the bathhouse payment method was QR code compatible, it would have been 5 stars, but since it doesn't seem to be, I'm deducting one star. The facility is very clean, and since I don't use the sauna, I have no particular complaints.
