Amayama Tron Hot Spring

Located among residential houses, the place is a little difficult to find, and I arrived using navigation. Parking is paid, but free with hot spring use. You leave your ticket at the reception and receive it back when you leave. I used the private bath on February 2025. It was a Sunday afternoon, but there was availability. Shoe lockers cost 100 yen, which is returned after use. Discounts are available through the Mikyan app and bank apps. The price is more reasonable than private baths at other hot spring facilities! You can use it for as long as 90 minutes. The room is a bit old, but the water quality is excellent, leaving your skin feeling moisturized. I was able to relax and enjoy the bath without feeling rushed. Bath towels, towels, yukata (Japanese robe), shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush, brush, hair ties, razor, and shower cap were provided. They also offer overnight stays, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It's located in a residential area, so the road from the national highway is a bit narrow (;´∀｀). There's a gate at the entrance to the parking lot 🅿️, and you need a parking ticket to enter, but if you hand your ticket to the hot spring ♨️ reception, it's free 🆓 (^o^; I went on a weekday evening, and there weren't many customers, so I was able to relax (^o^)v. The hot spring has an indoor bath, a bubble bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a cold bath. The seats at the washing area are really low, and the shower is high up, so it was a bit difficult to wash my body thoroughly (>ω<). After getting out of the hot spring ♨️, my skin felt smooth, which was nice (;´∀｀). There are no amenities (´ε｀；) Hmm...

I found out about this place when I went back to my hometown for the Obon holidays this year. I thought all the rooms had radon baths, so I requested a private bath, but it turned out to be a regular bathroom, not a radon bath. I told the front desk staff that I came expecting the radon effect, but they seemed hard of hearing. I wish they had at least confirmed with me that it was a regular bathroom. Surely, if it's a radon hot spring, all the rooms should have radon baths. If that's not possible, then they should properly explain and confirm. I was very disappointed.

I stayed overnight and used the family bath with sauna by myself to refresh myself. However, the water in the bath was cloudy and had strange things floating in it. When I mentioned it, they helped me, but they only told me to remove the plug, rinse the tub with the shower, and then refill it. I feel like I wasted both time and money without even using the sauna. And isn't it terrible that they didn't even change it out? Seriously, give me my time back. This is unbelievable! I'm never going again!

While it's great that it's open almost 24 hours a day, it's located in a residential area, so the roads are narrow in places. It's not recommended for those unfamiliar with the area or unsure of their driving skills. The parking lot itself is spacious and easy to park in, but be aware that if you forget to present your parking ticket at the front desk, you'll have to pay. Shampoos and other items are not provided, so if you didn't bring your own, you'll need to purchase some.
