Ark Land Spa

We've had a great time here and the food is just some of the best I've ever had! The staff are extremely helpful and courteous,, and we're definitely going to visit here again! There are just 3 points I'd like to make: 1) The pools. The windows look like they've never been cleaned and I was disappointed that I couldn't see the ocean view from indoors. Kids running around and jumping /dive bombing into the pools without any regard for other users! Also, there should be some railings that children can hold on to around the edges of the pools. Our 5 year old was trying to grab the walls to stop from going under the water when he was tired, but there was nothing to hold on to. Thankfully I was able to get to him before he went under the water again. Staff just stood there looking, so some safety training and cleaning protocols would be advisable. Also, ¥500 to rent a flotation ring? Way too expensive! 2) The bicycles - especially the electric ones, need maintenance or replacing! The seats are often broken and the gears don't work. 3) Kid's Play Land - great arena for kids but some older kids should not be able to access areas where toddlers are playing, as they run around too fast and without considering smaller kids. Other than these points, this place is awesome and I highly recommend it!

Non-japanese be advised. It's one part onsen (divided by gender and no bathing suit allowed) and the other part is bathing suit mandatory and mixed gender. Most people are wearing a t-shirt there. Which is quite odd for a European. Make sure in the onsen part to get clean before very well and read up on onsen etiquette, most signs are in Japanese which makes it quite difficult to navigate the space there. Onsen part is small but includes a sauna besides the baths. Very nice.

I had a great time at their natural hot spring Onsen and their restaurant. I had a Japanese friend called beforehand and they said they didn’t care that I had tattoos, and they were right. It wasn’t a problem at all. I have a few small tattoos… And by the way, the food at the restaurant is excellent, and not that expensive.

Great place, no need to book or stay at the hotel to enjoy the facilities 👌🏾 The Onsen is ¥1,000 with face towel (small Onsen towel) given, body soap, shampoo and conditioner provided inside. Multiple baths (1 inside, 3 outside) with one having a view on the bay 👌🏾 …

Super awesome and fun “water theme park”. There are many different pool options, a large reading room, plus traditional onsen baths (public and private). It’s very easy to make a full day trip here for a relaxing and fun experience.
