I used the baths around 8 PM. When I went, there were few people and it was very quiet, which was great. The baths included a high-concentration carbonated spring, a carbonated spring?, a jacuzzi (two types: side-opening and bottom-opening), an electric bath, a carbonated mist sauna, and a cold bath. I thought it was a regular sauna, but it turned out to be a carbonated mist sauna... I don't really like mist saunas because they're often low in temperature, but this one was quite hot! The mist was also gushing, which was great! The high-concentration carbonated spring was low in temperature, but you could really feel the carbonation, which was also great. The bottom-opening jacuzzi and the carbonated spring? were somewhere in between in temperature. I didn't feel any carbonation in the bath that was labeled as carbonated... The electric bath and the side-opening jacuzzi were a little warmer. 🙆♀️ They weren't too hot, just the temperature I liked. There were two types of showers: one fixed to the wall and one that could be moved, which was convenient. Around 8:30 PM, more families started coming in and it got quite noisy... I saw kids running around and falling, which was a bit scary... Maybe it's because of the location...? He looked like a mischievous guy, so I avoided talking to him... I decided to go at a time when there seemed to be fewer people. There was a large parking lot, but it was full by the time I left. Half of the car parking area and the bicycle parking area were covered. 🙆♀️ The next day, I slept in a dry place, but I was impressed that I hardly felt dry at all...!! Maybe it was the carbonated spring water or the mist sauna... Either way, the bath was very satisfying!

Absolutely worth going to. It’s old but clean. If you’re looking for a reset after a long day of walking, this place is great. Prices are now 530 yen. The baths are: - cold plunge (far back wall) - steam room/sauna - it’s a sauna but it sprays mist the whole time which gives it a steam room feeling - carbonated bath (farthest on the side wall, before the steam room/sauna). It’s not too hot, but it’s great for blood circulation, reducing swelling like from swollen feet, and overall recovery from muscle fatigue. - warm bath - hot bath & massage jets - this one is very hot and the massage jets are strong. Love it! If you want the heat and no jets there is one pool for that. - electric bath (closest to the storage area), great for relieving muscle tension, joint pain, and stiffness Bring a towel, shampoo, and soap. Wash well before getting into any pools and again after.

It's less than a 5-minute walk from JR Kyobate Station. Since there aren't many trains to Kyobate, walking 20 minutes from JR Nara Station might save you time. There's a covered parking lot. There are lockers with keys for shoes and umbrellas at the entrance. The lockers in the changing room don't have the standard baskets. There are two paid washing machines and two free hair dryers. The baths offer a variety of experiences: mist, electric, ultrasonic, bubble, and cold baths. The electric bath here is surprisingly strong! The mist shower feels like you're caught in a downpour (lol). There are no standard shampoos or conditioners, so bring your own or buy them at the front desk. Both the baths and changing rooms are clean. There are other bathhouses nearby, but I think this is the best. The entrance fee is 480 yen. Discount tickets and point cards are available.

This is a very nice public bathhouse with ample parking. The mist sauna, which is free of charge, is very refreshing with its constant mist. The high-concentration artificial carbonated spring bath warmed me up so much that I started to sweat gently from my forehead after soaking for a while. In addition to the deep bath and cold bath, there is also a jet bath and an electric bath. There are plenty of washing areas, so I could use them comfortably. The free hair dryers are also a nice touch. After bathing, you can relax with a drink from the vending machine, and the massage machine, which costs 20 yen for 3 minutes, was also very relaxing.

The entrance fee is 480 yen. They specialize in carbonated springs, and even the mist sauna uses carbonated water. The high-concentration carbonated spring water is lukewarm at first, but you gradually feel warm, and your body is very warm after getting out of the bath. There is also a cold bath, a jet bath, and an electric bath, so you can enjoy a variety of baths. The bathroom is kept clean. There is parking space for about 15 cars. Payment can be made with cash or PayPay. Information as of March 2025.
