あつみ温泉朝市広場

I stopped by the last morning market of 2020. As it says it opens at 5:30, it was open even though it was still dark. There were few customers. Unfortunately, there were only three stores. When I ordered coffee, the waiter said, "It'll be ready in 10 minutes." My wife and I decided to wait. She offered me a seat, so we chatted about various things. The old lady's conversation was fun... and the local dialect is great. "The soot on the ceiling and the soot on sushi are pronounced the same, susu." The morning market was actually one of the highlights of my stay at Atsumi Onsen, but when I arrived, it was closed. I was at a loss as to what to do when a woman in a pickup truck showed up. It seemed it was still early, but only two shops were open. What a shame. The woman's shop sold antiques, souvenirs like sake, dried goods, processed foods, and produce she grew herself. I even got to try some edamame (it was delicious, but too expensive for me to buy). Addendum: I was told that most of the shops had closed due to the effects of COVID-19.

The hot springs are very nice, and the benches and surrounding areas on the road side have a pleasant atmosphere, as each shop is making an effort. Only three shops were open in the morning market, but this was due to the earthquake and the effects of COVID-19. It's such a wonderful place, it's a shame! It's a place I'd like to visit again and again if I have the chance. The homemade simmered kelp is super delicious.

Some stores had closed due to the effects of the coronavirus, making the place a little lonely, but the warm atmosphere was still there.It had a different appeal to city flea markets, and I really enjoyed it.

[March 2013] Mt. Maya New Sake Festival Shonai Multi-Talent Namarie Portman was a guest and the party was a blast! The Mayor of Tsuruoka was also amazing! All-you-can-drink It ended in chaos! 😂
