Bijin no yu kamigahara

It's been years since I last visited Bijin-no-Yu Kakamigahara. It's the 21st anniversary of the establishment, so visiting after such a long time brought home the realization that the facility is so old. The shoe lockers, toilets, and locker rooms are all in Heisei-era style and felt very old. I visited around 2pm on a weekday, so the parking lot was open and there were not many customers inside the facility. There were only about 10 customers in the women's bath, so I was able to relax. I like that the showers in the washing area are always running and don't shut off after a certain time. The sauna is set to 80°C, so I sat on the upper level near the door, but I didn't feel too hot. After just five minutes in the sauna, I was sweating profusely, but it wasn't too hot. The cold water bath after the sauna is very cold, filtered through binchotan charcoal. After the sauna and cold bath, you can enjoy the open-air bath, but unfortunately there are no loungers in the open-air bath, so you can only sit down. There are a variety of baths to enjoy, including carbonated baths, hot springs, and silk baths. My favorite was the open-air tub bath. It's a large tub, so you can relax in it by yourself. The hot spring water is slippery and feels great. The hot spring water is delivered daily from Bijin-no-Yu Shirotori in Shiratori-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, so I think it's a very good hot spring. After my bath, I relaxed my body on the massage machine, which I paid to use, and it really relieved my fatigue. At first, I thought the facilities at Bijin-no-Yu Kakamigahara were old, but the hot spring water is of excellent quality, so I was very satisfied after my bath.

I like the slippery, beautifying water However, because of that, the floor is a bit slippery, so be careful The clientele seems to be mostly local older men It's nice that there aren't many groups of young people like you often find in newer facilities Also, there weren't too many noisy families with children, which is a good point However, it was before evening, so I don't know what the clientele is like after that The sauna is a light 80 degrees and the space is fairly large However, the fact that it's just a towel is a bit of a drawback...it would be better if there were rubber mats Overall, considering the 980 yen price, I probably won't come back here again.

The natural hot spring water is brought in from the "Bijin-no-Yu" hot spring in Shiratori Town, a place known only to those in the know. It felt slippery and moisturizing. The sauna was humid, and the upper level was a pleasant heat, which was great. The cold bath was a binchotan charcoal-fired cold water bath. It was a low temperature of around 12°C, but I felt so comfortable I could stay in it for a long time. It was great. The on-site restaurant, "KABARU," serves authentic Indian cuisine, and I had the biryani and naan set. A delight for Indian food lovers. I felt great and refreshed! Thank you! I visited around 5 PM on Sunday, and it wasn't very crowded. The changing rooms and baths seemed very clean. There was a good variety of indoor baths. Is it a natural hot spring? After bathing, my skin felt very moisturized and warm. The rest area on the first floor is spacious and relaxing. I would like to visit again.

My favourite sento in the area! The water is proper onsen water and there's a wide variety of baths including lots of jets, electric baths and a decent open air section. The restaurant is quite good too. Very clean and relaxing!
