If you want to visit a really traditional Japanese hot spring (Onsen), this is the right place to go. Almost all visitors are Japanese. Foreigners are really seen. This Onsen is located near Chichibu in the mountainous region of Buko. It has both indoor and outdoor baths. The baths are pretty small and sometimes packed with people. The sauna is also small. Other than the Onsen, there are also some entertainments like slot machines. The seating of the restaurant is Japanese traditional.

A nice stop in Yokoze with high quality spring water with great value. Indoor and outdoor pools available Nice selection of drinks, food, and manga. They even sell fresh produce from the farmers as well as collab products from EnGaWa The tatami area is spacious with a play area for kids. Additional Lockers are present but coins are needed Plenty of parking but the pools can have a good crowd as this onsen is popular

Please pass if you can. Slow reception, only one pool outside, indoor two pools, 2 deck chairs only. Sauna is ok, cold bath is warm. Soap/shampoo is low quality.

Not a bad onsen for the price. A bit old for sure. Also they don't allow tattoos anymore. Apparently they used to, but not now.
