白狐温泉 神明水

I highly recommend this place. It's said to be a sacred place outside of Oita Prefecture, perhaps in Tochigi or Gunma, but there's an equally wonderful place in Mizunami City. The holly-leaf jasmine flowers had completely died out, but even though it was almost 7pm and the sun had set, the water was crystal clear and beautiful. It had a faint sulfurous scent and the temperature of the cold spring water. Looking up from the remains of a retro hot spring inn, you can see it still in operation. I love this place, along with Byakugo Onsen ♨. I'd like to go to the Toki River when it's brighter. It's important to have enough space to avoid disturbing the neighbors.
Shinmei-sui, facing the Toki River, is said to have healed an injured white fox by bathing in the spring, and the spring still retains the appearance of a hot spring resort. The spring quality is a simple carbonated spring, and it is said to be effective against various ailments including rheumatism, high blood pressure, and skin diseases, and has been loved since ancient times. This famous water has also been selected as one of the 100 famous waters of Gifu Prefecture.
This is beautiful, crystal clear spring water. If you look closely, you can see it bubbling up and it even has a slight hot spring smell. The surrounding area also seems to be very clean and well-maintained. It's a small tunnel, but it's beautifully made. I'd like to come again next time when the Japanese anemone flowers are in bloom.
I came here to seek good fortune. The parking area isn't directly in front; you enter from the road one block south. It had a faint sulfurous smell, and I hesitated to drink it, so I mixed it into my bathwater.
I found it on YouTube. There it was, quietly 😌 It was crystal clear and sparkling ✨... And periodically, bubbles 🫧 bubbled up from the bottom... I went on a nice day, so it was beautiful 🤩
