Upon entering the grounds, you'll see a large tennis court and a sign that says Green Hotel, so you might think you're in the right place, but as soon as you enter the Green Hotel entrance, you'll find the day-use bathing reception on your right! The hotel feels like it was built during the Bubble Era. The bath is at the very back, down a long corridor and stairs. The restrooms along the way are very clean and spacious, which is nice. The changing rooms have lockers with keys that cost just 100 yen, and they seem to be cleaned regularly. The bathroom has two indoor baths: one large and at a normal temperature, and the other small and hot. There are also two outdoor baths; the small one just outside is lukewarm, while the larger one below is at a normal temperature. I preferred the hot water in the indoor bath and the lukewarm water in the outdoor bath. There's a drinking area, so I always drink the spring water when I go. None of the springs are added with water, so after washing my body, the water feels even more slippery, which is really nice. Even though I went on the second day of Golden Week, it wasn't terribly crowded, and compared to the super sento in town, I think you can avoid the crowds and enjoy a leisurely soak in the hot springs. Please note that there is no sauna or cold bath. I'm glad I found a place I can stop by on my way home from work. The hotel is located in a place rich in nature, so when I went at the end of May, a small group of monkeys passed by, swaying the trees in the open-air bath. If you're lucky, you might see them. I've been there a few times, and my recent favorite way to bathe is to first wash your body and then jump straight into the hot water! I get in just enough so I don't get too hot, and rest in a nearby chair. This will cause me to sweat profusely as I try to cool down, so once my body has calmed down a bit, I take a slightly cold shower to wash off the sweat, then jump back into the hot water! I repeat this three times and I'm done! You can sweat profusely even without the sauna, and you can feel the power of the hot springs with your whole body, killing two birds with one stone. If you're lucky, you can even have the largest open-air bath all to yourself, so I recommend going on a weekday evening.
It's so good!!! This 800 yen is worth it!!! "Sankyu no Yu" was closed so I searched on Google Maps♡ Sorry, but, for the same price, it's a world of difference! Just a little further away... I was so grateful that it was closed lol This is inside the Yunoyama Onsen Yumoto Green Hotel. The parking lot is so big lol And after entering the building, you have to walk quite a bit inside to get to the hot spring. It was a really big hotel~ "Beauty baths that are freshly poured" It's wide from the changing room, but inside is spacious and open! There are two open-air baths, both of which are great! There is also a server where you can drink the hot spring water. ~Quoted from the website~ 1300 years since it was opened "Yunoyama" blessed with a rich source Natural blessing Yunoyama Onsen is said to have been opened in 718 (Nara period). The abundant alkaline radium springs are effective for gastrointestinal disorders, neuralgia, and external injuries, and have been loved by locals as "beauty springs" that are particularly effective for beautiful skin. In 1969, Green Hotel was established in this land blessed with nature, with two of the best hot springs in the country on its premises. The two springs produce 500 liters of water per minute at 45.2 degrees Celsius, which is ideal for hot springs, and boast the largest volume of water in Yunoyama. ~Quoted from the website~ Natural hot spring A genuine hot spring where you can enjoy the luxury of two private hot springs that flow 500 liters per minute from 1,300 meters underground. The soft, viscous "beauty springs" will leave you with beautiful, lustrous skin. Soaking in the alkaline simple springs that contain radon will warm you up from the core of your body. Enjoy the spacious open-air baths and large public baths to your heart's content.
Your skin will be incredibly smooth! Experience 100% natural hot spring water at Green Hotel, a hidden gem in Mie Prefecture. For all those seeking beautiful skin: Experience the creamy, whitening water, which feels like you're soaking your entire body in lotion. For nature lovers who love a sense of freedom: At the foot of Mt. Gozaisho, there are two spacious open-air baths where you can become one with the forest air. For those looking to relax away from the crowds: A hidden gem, loved by locals, just outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Yunoyama Onsen Green Hotel is renowned among hot spring lovers for its **simply the best quality of water**. The greatest attraction is the luxurious **100% natural hot spring water**, which is drawn directly from two different hot springs, with no added water. The moment you touch the water, you'll be amazed by the unique, slippery feeling that clings to your skin. As the name "Whitening Bath" suggests, you'll find your skin incredibly moist and smooth after a bath. The large public bath has two indoor baths and two spacious open-air baths, and the seasonal views from the "Nagomi Bath" are particularly spectacular. While it's not a flashy leisure facility, it's clean and comfortable, with the hospitality of a somewhat nostalgic hotel, making it the perfect "hidden gem" to visit as a reward from your daily routine.
I searched for this place and decided to stop by for a hot spring♨️ on my way home. Paying 900 yen per adult, you walk down a long corridor, down the stairs, and then another slight downhill walk to reach the large public bath. There's an elevator at the end of the stairs, so even those with weak legs can use it with peace of mind. The changing room is clean and very spacious. There was a place to store valuables, but we didn't use it, so we're not sure if the 100 yen deposit would be enough. The washing area can accommodate more than 10 people, and there were two indoor baths, although the smaller one was a little hot. There were two outdoor baths, both of which were clean and slightly warm♨️. You can drink the lukewarm hot spring water from the inside where it exits, and disposable cups are provided, so you can drink it with confidence. The water was of very high quality♨️, and although it was a little slippery, it didn't feel slippery when you got out! The parking lot was large and there were plenty of places to park.
I think this is the only place within walking distance of Yunoyama Onsen Station that offers day-use baths. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, but you have to walk up a slope to get there. I used the day-use baths at a hotel called Green Hotel. The bathing fee is 900 yen for adults on weekends and holidays. You pay at the front desk to enter. You'll need to bring your own towels, but shampoo and body wash are provided in the bath area. All lockers in the changing rooms have locks. There are two indoor baths and two open-air baths. One of the indoor baths was quite hot, which was very refreshing. It was raining on the day I visited, so I didn't soak long in the open-air bath, but it was large and I think it would have been very comfortable on a nice day. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but there were many bathers. There is also a large parking lot, so it is convenient to visit by car.
