Before I start my review, I want to say something loud and clear. This is my opinion not only about this facility but about sauna users in general. Since the doors aren't double-doored, I think people who open the doors more than 90 degrees to get in and out are a little inconsiderate of the people inside. It just lets the heat escape. Even I, who am overweight, can open the door at a 40-degree angle and still get in and out, so I wonder how skinny people can open the door so openly. Let's be considerate of the people inside! Now, on to the review. The smell and shower water pressure that others have mentioned seem to be proportional to the level of congestion. When I went, the washing area was pretty empty, so the changing room didn't smell, and the shower water pressure was average, neither weak nor strong. ★About the Hot Spring★ The hot spring is around 40°C, so even people who get hot easily should be able to enjoy a long soak. However, it is a slightly alkaline spring with a pH of 9.0, so caution is advised for those with skin irritations or sensitive skin such as atopic dermatitis. It's recommended to moisturize thoroughly and avoid touching your face with the hot spring water, or to rinse thoroughly with a shower before getting out. Because I have sensitive skin, I ended up getting a sore after soaking for too long. My face became itchy and my eyes became red, which was quite a pain. ★Sauna★ It can accommodate up to 20 people. They provide regular loyly, so you can feel the heat. However, since it doesn't have double doors, if there's a lot of people coming and going during busy periods, the room temperature doesn't rise quickly, so it might not be enough for hardcore bathers. There are only three reclining chairs for outdoor bathing and three chairs. If the chairs aren't available during busy times, it might be a bit difficult to find a place to sit.

It reopened on February 1, 2026. The first day was a Sunday, so there was a line outside, so I went on a weekday evening. Closed on Mondays. A three-hour adult admission fee is 600 yen for residents of Ome, Fussa, Hamura, and Mizuho, and 960 yen for everyone else. The building is very beautiful, but the layout of the large hall and baths is the same as before, so it seems they've completely renovated rather than rebuilt, and it's much more comfortable. The bath area has a washing area, one indoor bath, one outdoor bath, a Finnish sauna, and a cold bath. There is no jacuzzi or carbonated bath. The baths for men and women seem to switch weekly, but the configuration is the same. It's an alkaline simple hot spring, with a source of around 36 degrees Celsius pumped up from 1,800 meters underground and heated. The indoor bath was around 39 degrees Celsius, and the outdoor bath was around 41 degrees Celsius, just the right temperature. The water quality is like a smooth hot spring, leaving your skin feeling smooth after a bath. The sauna is also new, and the far-infrared effects of the large stone stove heated me from the inside out, making me feel like a roasted sweet potato. It seems you can order food and drinks in the large hall. However, no outside food is allowed. There are also mechanical massage rooms and a separate gymnasium. It wasn't too crowded as it was a weekday evening, but from around 6pm the number of people coming in, mainly after work, started to increase slightly. I gave it five stars because it's cheap, close by and comfortable, but when I went again on a weekend evening, the changing room was small and there weren't enough lockers, so I had to wait in line, so I gave up and went home. I'm downgrading it to four stars.

This was my first time using the facility since the renovation. The exterior is almost unchanged. The flow of traffic from entering to reception is also the same. The tatami rest area, the room with massage machines, and the wall partitions have been modernized. The bath is now a hot spring, but there is only an indoor bath, outdoor bath, and sauna, so it feels a little lonely compared to the old days when there were jets and waterfall baths. The washing area has also been cleaned up, but as someone else wrote, the showers are weak. There are no shelves, so everyone had to leave their own shampoos on the wall above the washing area. Also, the sweaty smell from the changing room didn't bother me when I entered, but it was very bothersome when I got out of the bath. However, the hot springs make my skin feel smooth. The prices for food have gone up, but everything looked delicious.

This is a local health spa-style facility. It's quiet, with mostly elderly customers and almost no young people. The clientele hasn't changed since the renovation. Apart from the sauna, there are only two baths. Perhaps because it's natural, the water is lukewarm. The water pressure in the showers is also quite weak. It costs 900 yen for 3 hours for people who aren't in the vicinity, so it's worth it if you're just looking for a quick soak in the hot springs, but I think everyone else will be more satisfied if they go to a nearby large day spa. By the way, with the addition of large play equipment on the premises, they may be targeting families with children, but the elderly people sleep in the rest area and it ends up being all to themselves, so I wouldn't recommend it as a place for children.

There seem to be a lot of harsh reviews, but It's only been a short time since the hotel reopened, and they're clearly over capacity every day, so perhaps that's unavoidable to some extent? The shower water flow is certainly weak, but I think it's tolerable. Maybe they're using exhaust heat from a waste disposal facility? There's a good rest area, so you can relax. More than anything, the staff, while still a bit awkward and unfamiliar with their work, were hard at work, which left a good impression. There are few bathing facilities in the area, and this natural hot spring with a sauna is especially helpful for those living in the surrounding area, as it's an exceptional price in these times. The quality of the hot spring was also very good!
