ふふ 城ヶ島 海風のしらべ

I stayed for two nights after the hotel opened on February 27th. I've stayed at almost all of the Fufu hotels. This one was just as amazing as my favorite, Fufu Kawaguchiko. The staff's hospitality was incredible. No matter where I encountered them in the hotel, they were always smiling, polite, and warm. They were simply amazing! I'm so grateful that they were so willing to accommodate my food preferences. Thank you so much. The meals were delicious, featuring local fish and seasonal vegetables, and the beautiful tableware enhanced the flavor even more. The ocean was right in front of me, so I could hear the sounds of the waves and the cries of black kites. Beyond the horizon, I could see the Izu Peninsula, Izu Oshima, and Mt. Fuji. Please note that some rooms do not have views of Mt. Fuji. Even if you can't see Mt. Fuji from your room, you can see it by going to the coast in front of it. This time I stayed in Shiokaze and Aoumi. Shiokaze had the most affordable rooms and included a natural hot spring and a bedrock bath. The room is compact, but the furniture and décor match the atmosphere of Jogashima, and the flow of movement is easy, making it comfortable. When you open the window, you can really smell the sea breeze. From your room, you can watch people crossing Akabashi Bridge and heading to the beach. Aomi has a very open feel, and you can feel the ocean even in your room. From the large window, you can have Miura Beach and Mt. Fuji all to yourself. Lying in bed watching the ocean and sunset was the ultimate luxury. Since it just opened, the furniture, bed, and bathroom are all clean, of course. The sofa is quite large, so you can relax comfortably. You can walk to the shopping district, Jogashima Observatory, and along the coast to Umanose Cave Gate and Jogashima Park. There are also many cute local cats. There are also plenty of activities, so I'd like to try them next time.

Style. Modern & beautiful design surrounded by the sea, rooms with tactile & texturised interiors Setting. southernmost tip of Miura Peninsula, across the sea from Mount Fuji Explore. Jogashima ‘s rock formations. Dive shop 5 minutes walk away Rooms. 34 rooms with views of the glittering sea. I booked the least expensive “stylish suite” — room 225 which surprised me initially coz it felt small (624 square feet) but otherwise was a perfect & cozy bubble of comfort. You are instantly welcomed into the room by the scent of Fufu’s signature essential oil & can soak all day in the onsen fed by Aburatsubo Onsen water. It was exhilarating waking up to a perfect view of Mount Fuji, while bird watching from the room’s private onsen @ the hotel. Free flow alcohol and cocktails available either at the rooftop lounge Yoiboshi or on the ground floor well-stocked Uraka lounge. Dinner was at 汐結 Shoiyui Food & drinks. Kaiseki locavore seafood dinner with good choices for main course. Dinner started with abalone, Misaki tuna, etc. I had a charcoal grilled Ise spiny lobster and tried a couple of the local Kanagawa sakes. Prices. US$662 for two. Half board Rating. 5/5 good attentive service especially given this place has only been opened for one week (since Feb 27 2026)

We stayed for one night from February 27th. As it was opening day, the staff were very hard-working and heartwarming, and the hospitality was truly warm. The room had large windows, and it was a comfortable space where you could lie down while looking out at the sea and sky. Above all, the food was absolutely amazing, and every dish was delicious. We were seated in different seats for dinner and breakfast, so we were able to enjoy our delicious meals while taking in the different views from the window, which was a very happy experience. The hot spring was the perfect temperature to warm you to the core, and the space to relax on the sofa on the terrace after bathing was also great. The space on the fourth floor was open and wonderful. I wish we could use it for a little longer. I'd like to visit again in the summer.

Thank you for your hospitality. My 88-year-old mother enjoyed the free-flowing beer on the top floor, but drank too much. She also enjoyed a delicious dinner, which put her in a good mood. Seeing my mother staggering around after drinking too much, a staff member quickly provided a wheelchair and escorted her back to her room. We live nearby and would normally take the bus back, but a female staff member walked us out of the hotel until we were out of sight. I am incredibly grateful. Incidentally, my mother walks slowly, so I think the staff member spent quite a bit of time seeing us off. If my mother is still healthy, we will definitely visit again.

Everything was fantastic. There's just one concern. There were tons of sandflies in the outdoor seating area of the rooftop bar, and I got bitten a lot. I got bitten in five places in about 15 minutes while watching the sunset, and it was awful afterward. Sandfly bites cause more swelling and itchiness than mosquito bites, and they tend to leave marks, so I strongly recommend bringing insect repellent.
