"👼 Healing and Balance in the Sacred Spring — Reisens Fudoyu, Yamanashi" "👼 Healing & Balance in the Sacred Spring — Reisens Fudoyu, Yamanashi" ⸻ Reisens Fudoyu, located in Yamanashi Prefecture, is a sacred spring known since ancient times for its effectiveness in treating skin diseases.♨️ The facility is divided into a therapeutic spring and a general bath, allowing you to choose according to your physical condition and purpose.🥳 The general bath, which I used this time, costs 1,000 yen for a day trip. Although small, it has two bathtubs, one hot and one cold, and alternating between them allows you to experience a state of "totonoi" (a state of deep relaxation and well-being) similar to that after a sauna.👼🤍 Also, drinking the spring water is possible here.💧💎🤍 By incorporating the sacred spring water from within, I felt an even deeper sense of healing. Immersing myself in the sacred spring that springs forth in the quiet mountains, the time spent calming my mind was truly a luxurious moment. This is a mineral spring spa. I didn't remember it very well when I went there a long time ago, but when I went back and alternated between hot and cold baths (around 30 degrees), I felt amazing. It was similar to the "totono" (relaxing) sensation you get from a sauna. However, unlike a sauna, it's not taxing on the body and is extremely gentle. My skin condition also improved, so I hurried back for another night. I don't know why this hot spring works, but it's tasteless and odorless. The hotel has a dining room, shop, lobby, and hall, so you can relax. It's a bit disappointing that you can't cook, but there is a cheap and delicious restaurant. Perhaps because the water is good, the food is delicious. There is little pre-made food, and the food is carefully prepared. It's amazing! You can relax in a Japanese-style room. However, there is no air conditioning, so you'll have to rely on an electric fan during the day. You'll be comfortable outside of summer. If you're a hot spring lover, give it a try. You'll be amazed!

I visited in August and it was hot during the day. However, at night it was cool enough with just the fan. The cold bath is popular and the water temperature is comfortable, so you can stay in it for a long time. The meals are reasonably priced, with a yakiniku set meal for 850 yen and a set meal such as miso-braised mackerel with curry and Neapolitan for 750 yen. The food is homely, but the rice and miso soup are delicious, and you get one free refill of rice. You can also get free ice if you ask at the restaurant. The wallpaper in the toilet is by no means the cleanest, but being able to stay there for this price is an attractive feature. Smokers should use the smoking area; smoking is prohibited inside the building.

This hot spring has excellent water quality. I took advantage of the day-trip bathing option. The price was 1,000 yen. There are two indoor baths for day-trip visitors, one at about 42°C and the other at about 32°C. You can enjoy the baths as many times as you like by going back and forth between them. There is also a tatami-floored rest room and dining area available for day-trippers. Ice cream and sweets are also available for purchase.

I paid with cash at the ticket machine. The water was clear and the temperature was just right. There was a hair dryer. There were three faucets. Day-use bathing hours vary depending on the day of the week, so it's best to inquire to be sure. The mountain path to get there was quite challenging. The slope of the parking lot was also quite steep.
