Fuji Fumoto Forest Hotspring

The trailer is a good way to experience the Japanese forest, without the need to bring your own camping equipment and to relax in a more comfortable style. The BBQ pit is spaceous enough to be cooking many ingredients and there is a heater underneath the pit for when the weather is colder and can keep your lower body warm. All utensils are prepared for you. The utensils are brand new and packaged, there is plenty of charcoal for the fire and there are plenty of plates, chopsticks and cups. I would suggest bringing water as the faucet inside (which I believe is drinkable) has a perculiar taste. Inside the trailer there is little space for larger people to be moving around, but enough space for 4, or 5 people to comfortably sit down and relax. If someone is sitting down at the table and you need to pass, there will be people standing up to let you through. There is WiFi provided and it was a strong and stable connection. The television has HDMI ports so you can connect a firestick, console, or if you have some form of entertainment that requires HDMI. The toilet is new, equiped with all the high functions that modern toilets bring with plenty of toilet paper. The shower is of a good pressure and enough space for slightly larger people. Soap, towels and other amenities are provided if you don't have your own. All in all, it is a great place to stay for the night. I have enjoyed everytime I have been to the accomodation.

First, a word of warning. This is an unmanned service, so no one will be able to help you during your stay if something happens. There's only one 2.5m wall between you and your neighbor, so if someone rudely sits next to you, they'll be yelling and making a lot of noise, which is really annoying. There's no front desk, so there's no way to get them to stop you. In fact, a group of young guys stayed next door and were making a lot of noise late into the night, which was really annoying. We stayed with two adults, one elementary school student, and a dog. As the reviews said, the room was small, and we couldn't walk around without unfolding our carrier bag. The bath is an open-air hot spring, but it doesn't spring up; it seems like the water is pumped up from a separate source and stored in a tank, so don't get your hopes up. They provided BBQ and bonfires, which was nice, but the sauna smelled so bad I didn't feel like using it. There are a lot of camping facilities nearby, so it seemed like they were holding events at night, using loudspeakers from 6am until 10pm, making it really loud. Won't stay again

If I could rate this property a negative 5, I would. Good luck to anyone staying here. The property FALSELY advertises a meal plan, which was even confirmed by the Chat AI. However, there is no meal plan included in the exorbitant price you pay. I was informed by the property AFTER THE FACT that guests are expected to bring their own food, and that the Chat AI information is from another reservation site. Who knew?! My guest and I arrived unprepared and did not bring any food, despite having a hike scheduled for the following day. As a result, we went without food for 24 hours! To make matters worse, there was a massive spider in the washroom, which we noticed immediately (see attached picture). Since this is a self-serve property, there was no one on site to assist us with this issue. And again good luck trying to get a hold of anyone by phone. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Would not recommend.

The BBQ set (all brand new, including grill, tongs, charcoal tongs, chopsticks, cups, fan, paper plates, and aluminum plates), a complimentary s'mores set, and plenty of charcoal and firewood were provided. The spacious wooden deck featured a hearth and gas stove, and the trailer had underfloor heating, demonstrating thoughtful attention to detail for a comfortable glamping experience. Considering the cleanliness of the bedding and the comprehensive facilities, the higher price is understandable. Having your own private open-air bath, tent sauna, and bonfire area in the middle of the forest is a luxurious pleasure. While the outdoor private space is spacious and offers ample privacy, the sauna and bath are adjacent to each other through a wall, so you might be bothered by noise from neighbors during busy periods. The G location at the very back offers the most open and spacious feeling.

DONT COME HERE WITHOUT YOUR CAR! I must say, I love Glamping, but here it was a disaster! Check in is very late, and you have no place to store your luggage. So we had to drag it with us and hire a taxi for the day at the rate of $52/hr !!! The room is very small and cramped. It’s about 6.5 feet wide, with a table in the middle. The garden area is spacious with Hot Spring, Sauna and BBQ setup. There is NO SHUTTLE SERVICE! False advertisement! The nearest bus and store is 40 minutes by walk. I’m glad someone got breakfast and dinner, we got nothing. Mt. Fuji is amazing!! I will stay somewhere else next time!
