Nice hot spring with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. There was a guy who spoke some English and escorted me to the locker room and explained everything. He was very helpful. You need a ¥100 coin for the shoe locker. You can get it back after you’re done. The front desk will keep your shoe locker key and give you a key for a locker in the locker room. Once you’ve put your things in the locker wear your key around your wrist it’s okay to wear in the water. Each hot spring has its own style this was a bit different. Also this place is not tattoo friendly. The guy asked if I had tattoos right off the bat.

Staff are super nice and helpful. Disclaimer: we did not use this facility. However the attitude of the staff speaks alot about this facility. Our car was stuck neatby thr facility due to heavy snow. We had to go to this hot spring to ask for help. They helped us find the local number for our hotel (as the number of our hotel on the website was wrong). Immediatley heloed us car a taxi (when our hotel told us on the phone that there is nothing they can do). Gave us food. Let us stayed in the facility even though we did not use the hot spring. I cant be more grateful to the staff who assisted us.

The lady and old man who run this public onsen are so kind hearted and helpful to my husband and I during a snowstorm whereby our car was stuck on the mainroad near this onsen. They helped me with directions and translations for calling a taxi and tow truck while we panicked to find arrangements to go back to our hotel. Lovely place, very cosy and run by very kind hearted people. They even gave me candy and some spare snacks to make sure we were not hungry! I will be back to try to onsen but I am sure it is great :) as it is run by lovely people.

very clean public onsen, large outdoor onset; unable to see Mountain Fuji as very cloudy; very good massage and price is reasonable, even has sleeping beds in upper floor; tempura chicken in restaurant is very good👍 👍 👍 …
