Fujimi Onsen Fureai Hall

I stopped by in early November 2025. I went around 6 PM on a Sunday, and it wasn't very crowded. There were brief moments right after I entered when there were no spaces available for the bath and no seats available on the upper level of the sauna, but it seemed to open up quickly. However, the parking lot was full, so I parked at a nearby roadside station. It was a rainy day, and the view was obscured by haze, but I liked it. I'd definitely come back. -- This facility is located along National Route 353 on the south side of Mount Akagi. The location is perfect, with a view of the city of Maebashi. The night view is beautiful, and the view is similar to that of Aguri no Yu in Komoro. It's open until 9 PM. The price was reasonable, just 520 yen, with no time limit. You need a 100 yen coin for the shoe locker, which will be returned. Guests were responsible for their own shoe locker lockers. All changing rooms had lockers with locks. This facility seems to encourage hydration, as there is a water dispenser near the entrance to the bath area. The washing area can accommodate 16 people. The chairs are low, but there are several high chairs. The showers are unlimited, which is good, but the quality varies depending on the location. The shampoo is a rinse-in type and feels cheap. I didn't feel it removed dirt very well. It also felt rough on the fingers. There are three baths. I don't think the indoor bath is a hot spring, but it does have a jacuzzi, which was nice. The open-air bath is a salty hot spring. I wonder if it's the same as Ainoyama no Yu. The night view was beautiful. Then there was the cold bath. The thermometer was broken, so I couldn't really tell the temperature, but it was just right for me that day. I thought it was around 16-18°C. The sauna is warm! 80°C. It felt like you could stay in for a long time, so the turnover was a bit slow. I didn't feel like I was getting warm no matter how many hours I spent in the lower berth. Staying in the upper berth is unacceptable. However, I thought it was better than a warm cold bath. It does get your heart rate up, though. I think it can fit 10 people if you behave a little. Outside there are three crappy plastic chairs with small backs, and one bench. The bench is against the wall, so you can rest your head against it and sit comfortably in a shallow position. I preferred the bench here. Also, there was the 360-degree shower that was available at Sanada Onsen Health Land. I thought I'd try it at the end, but I forgot... No one was using it...

Tattoos allowed with stickers you purchase to cover them up. The stickers are large and ¥150 each. There is not a limit like I have seen at other Olsens who offer stickers (usually 4 max). Onsen is ¥520. Unfortunately, I was not wanting to bathe with the amount of stickers I would need to cover my many tattoos since I want to wash my body and not be sticky from sticker glue. Additionally, the ¥150 per sticker would’ve cost me as much as a private Onsen elsewhere. Big sad. I’m really hungry and wanted to enjoy the restaurant too. The front desk was all very kind and accommodating about everything so 5 stars is earned, I’m just sad I didn’t get to use the Onsen.

The hotspring/ onsen was nice. I really enjoy the outdoor onsen during winter. Food was May be considered regular. I love the hot soba. You can come here for the onsen maybe not for the food. Staff was nice.

A large onsen with multiple baths , an outdoor bath and sauna. Staff are nice and foreigner / tattoo friendly. There is also a restaurant serving Japanese food and a shop selling local products / mementos.

Very good onsen. Salty and big outside onsen and garden with mountain view. Staff extremely helpful. Comes with a nice restaurant. There is a sauna cold pots and bubbles.
