・Basic Information We stayed here for a family trip. Ryugujo Hotel Mikazuki Fujimitei is easily accessible from the city center and offers a highly complete family resort experience with hot springs, a pool, and delicious meals. The hotel was lively, with many families with children, creating a relaxed atmosphere. ・Rooms & Facilities This time, we stayed in a special Japanese-Western room with a semi-open-air bath. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The best part was the great view from the room, and being able to enjoy the view while soaking in the semi-open-air bath was a major draw. The quality was more than enough for a relaxing family stay. ・Meals The meals were buffet-style. There was a wide variety of dishes, and the overall quality was very high and delicious. The menu was perfect for a family trip, with a menu that both adults and children could enjoy. The meals were one of the highlights of our stay. ・Pool & Facilities We used the pool in the spa building, but to be honest, it wasn't as clean as I expected and was smaller than I expected. However, there are many child-friendly features, so it's definitely enjoyable for families with children. Also, the game center in Matsuriland has slightly older equipment. While it may be disappointing if you're expecting the latest facilities, it's still acceptable as a place to enjoy the festival atmosphere. ・Location/Access It's easily accessible from the city center, both by car and public transportation. I felt it was also suitable for short family trips or weekend getaways. ・Service/Response The staff's response was generally smooth and flawless. Since there were many family guests, the familiar service gave a sense of security. ・Value for Money/Satisfaction Although the pool and game center felt a bit dated, overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, considering the room, meals, and family-friendly amenities. This hotel is more suited to "family trips with children" than those seeking "adult luxury."

We stayed in a vacant room in the Kids' Concept Room in October 2025. It was very cute and my child loved it. It was very convenient to find a diaper trash can, a step stool for the sink, a booster toilet seat, and baby soap already provided. The room was also clean. The bed was spacious, so my child and I could sleep comfortably. We were also able to watch U-NEXT on the projector, which my child enjoyed watching. After reading reviews about the pool, I was quite worried because many people said the stairs from the third floor to the first floor were slimy and uncomfortable. However, when we arrived just before opening time, it wasn't too wet and it was fine (though I still felt uncomfortable walking barefoot on them; I wish they'd do something about it). I couldn't find any swim rings at the pool, so I asked the lifeguard and he told me they were sold outside. It was quite cold to go outside in my swimsuit to buy one in late October. The pool water was clean, especially since we went first thing in the morning. Many of the buffets were open-kitchen style, so it was nice to see freshly prepared food. I didn't have high expectations for a buffet, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious. There was all-you-can-drink alcohol, and there were several types of beer alone. Children received coins at the buffet and could play a game of gacha (a type of machine) to win sweets. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to enter the buffet area. While you're required to walk in socks instead of slippers, there were spilled juices and other things on the floor, and we all stepped in them. I wish they'd made slippers. Every bathroom in the hotel had child-friendly toilet seats, which I thought made it a very child-friendly hotel. My kids loved the game center at Matsuri Land. By the way, they sold swimsuits and swim diapers in the souvenir shop. I wish they'd sold them at the entrance to the pool. ...

Our stay at the resort was, for the most part, great—the facilities were a little run down but the room was spotless and comfortable, and the dinner buffet was exceptional. Unfortunately, all of those positives were overshadowed by the deeply disappointing experience at the on-site NOAH “petting zoo.” The room/zoo wreaked of urine and the animals were overcrowded and kept in cramped, uncomfortable spaces that were upsetting to witness. From kangaroos and penguins to random dogs, I’ve never seen so many animals in one place. What should have been a charming, family-friendly activity instead left us with a very bad impression and it was clear the animals’ well-being was not a priority. I left feeling guilty for having supported this operation at all. It’s a shame that such a beautiful resort allows an attraction in such poor condition to operate, because it detracts significantly from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Great great great for all kids. I had the deluxe room with in room onsen tub. Views aren't the greatest not sure if it is low tide or what but the staff is amazing. Get there early few hours before checkin because you can still have access to the pools and can reserve for a later dinner. If you get there too late all your meal times for the buffet will suck. The water park was amazing for my younger 8 and 5 year old and on summer there is fireworks show you can see on Fri Sat and sun. Not much around there so you pretty much stay on the resort. Weekends summer is insane so weekdays is a good idea. Buffet meals are buffet meals hence I docked 1 star. Very enjoyable otherwise and rooms are great. Staff does speak a little English and signs have some English so don't be too worried to book.

I've stayed at Ryugu-tei twice, and at Fujimitei in a regular room and a Hello Kitty room. Personally, I think that if the price per adult is around 10,000 yen at Ryugu-tei or around 20,000 yen at Fujimitei, you'll have a satisfying stay without having to worry about the negative aspects of the hotels that are mentioned in various reviews. So naturally, I often visit on weekdays when I have a child's day off. Ryugu-tei is probably more convenient if you're going to the spa or Matsuriland, but considering the food and how crowded it is, I prefer Fujimitei as it's more relaxed. I like the candy apples, tempura, and sushi for dinner, and the Costa drink machine. I wish Fujimitei had beer or light snacks as a welcome drink, like Ryugu-tei.
