Fujisan anmo no yu

Anmo, written as "Tenmo" but pronounced "Anmo," is a bathing facility at the foot of Mount Fuji. You can enjoy medicinal baths in the open-air bath. What's a little unique about this facility is that the price varies depending on the length of your stay. If you take a quick bath for less than an hour, it costs a reasonable 410 yen (when we visited in November 2025). The outdoor bath has a medicinal bath, and the indoor bath has a vibrating bath and jet bath, soothing the body of anyone visiting Mount Fuji. We recommend stopping by on your way back from climbing Mount Fuji. Why not head home feeling refreshed?

Amamonoyu. Near the Kiseki Museum. Went on a Saturday evening. Not very crowded. Perhaps it was because the restaurant was closed. It was priced like a public bath, at 410 yen for up to one hour. There's a three-hour option, but would an additional hour for 200 yen be sufficient? The open-air herbal bath? Maybe it's bath salts. The night view might be beautiful. About half of the jets in the indoor jet bath were on. The vibrating bath was also barely in use. Still, the low price is attractive

Kinda skanky…..1 star for how cheap it is (¥410 for an hour) and 1 for the view which isn’t bad over Fuji city and Suruga bay….but it has mould n mildew on the roof of the indoor bath and a lot of dead skin cells in the outside bath….if you do find yourself here, sit next to where the water comes out, it’ll push most of the dead skin floaters to the fr end of the bath

The outside spa has excellent view of Fuji city at night. Restaurant only available on weekends until 6pm. Large area for resting.

5 stars for accepting people with a little tattoo to enter the onsen.
