Every year, the mountain roads in Yabakei are jammed with traffic. However... If you avoid the autumn foliage season, it's a very quiet area. In Yabakei, where isolated hot springs are the norm, you might be surprised to see strangers when you arrive...😅 You can spend some quiet time soaking in the moor springs. It doesn't seem to be a hot spring, but it does have an open-air bath, a hall, and a shop. The reception entrance is on the second floor, and the bath is on the first floor, so you have to go downstairs.

The autumn leaves have already fallen this year. Next year, I'll aim to go around November 10th to see the spectacular view.
