I visited alone on a Saturday during a three-day weekend in November. The facility was a bit crowded with locals, but it was kept clean and I enjoyed my time there. The greatest attraction here is the hot spring water, straight from the source. There's no open-air bath, but you can enjoy the pure hot spring water to your heart's content in the indoor bath. The first thing I noticed upon entering the bath was that it felt just like a therapeutic spring, and I could feel the mineral content on my skin. My skin felt moisturized and smooth after the bath. I really liked that they offer two different bath temperatures to suit your preference. Whether you want to warm up in hot water or just take a long soak, they've got you covered. And there's the rare frozen sauna! In addition to the hot sauna and cold bath set, they also have a frozen sauna. I'd like to visit again if I'm in the area.

780 yen for free-flowing hot spring water! But then I realized shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were separate... If they didn't write it in big letters on the ticket machine, only locals would know... By the time I realized it after getting in the bath, it was already too late... It was too much of a hassle to get dressed and go to the ticket machine again, so I ended up just rinsing my head and body in the shower (lol). Even though I had taken a bath, I still felt a bit refreshed when I headed home... It's a shame, because the spring water and the bath were great! It's not that they're bad, but it would be fine if they'd clearly stated that they didn't have it, or if they'd put vending machines for shampoo and body soap in the changing rooms. I think the locals are repeat customers, so the opinion of a one-timer is in the minority, though.

The quality of the water is excellent. The inside of the building has a clean and calming atmosphere, and the slight scent of wood wafts through the air, immediately increasing your sense of relaxation. The path to the bath is also smooth and stress-free. The water is soft and feels good on the skin, allowing you to savor the warmth that only a spring with free-flowing water can provide. From the moment you immerse yourself up to your shoulders, you can really feel your body warming to the core. Relaxing in the open-air bath while feeling the natural air, and soothing the seasonal breezes and birdsong are truly blissful.

No shampoo or body soap provided. So, this rating is only possible with the frozen sauna (temperature is around 0°C). It might have been a little disappointing without it. Apparently, the loyly takes place every hour (once an hour) after 00 minutes. The recommended order is sauna → cold bath → frozen sauna → cold bath → hotter water → frozen sauna → cold bath, but you could also reverse the order of cold bath and frozen sauna. The best way to enjoy this is to decide when to pop into the frozen sauna! It seems there are a variety of ways to achieve that look! In conclusion, it's incredibly cool!

Visited in January 2026 I took the bus from Kanazawa Station. The free-flowing bathtub and open-air bath were great. The facility was easy to use and clean, with barrier-free and universal design in mind. The massage chairs on the common floor were also very comfortable (300 yen for 15 minutes). There was a coin laundry on the first floor, which I didn't use, but it seemed convenient. Unfortunately, the restaurant I was counting on was closed and unavailable. The opening hours seem to vary depending on the day of the week, so be sure to check them carefully.
