Rating 3 Touya Gensenyu, winner of the 4th National Bath Koshien. It also ranked second in the Nifty Hot Springs Rankings 2023 in the hot spring water quality category, and first in the hot spring and spa rankings for baths. Touya is a members-only facility, so you might think only members can enter. Non-members can enter as visitors, but they must fill out a reception slip. Touya's rules state that anyone who refuses to complete this procedure will be denied entry and cannot use the facility. Indoor Bath: 1. High-Temperature Sauna (1 far-infrared sauna heater, 5-tier tower sauna, 96°C, TV available); 2. Cold Bath (Not too cold); 3. Hot Water; 4. Full-Body Bath (From the source, it feels slimy; vibrations are present in some areas; the bath is stepped, allowing for half-body baths); 5. Sitting Bath (The water is up to your ankles, so you can soak your feet. Like the full-body bath, this bath feels slimy and may be from the source). Outdoor Bath: 6. Cypress Bath (From the source, not entirely made of cypress); 7. Steam Sauna (Watch your head when entering); 8. Open-Air Rock Bath from the Source; 9. Reclining Bath; 10. Pot Bath (Shigaraki ware). The open-air bath has a great open feel (a beautiful view all the way to the sky; there are some electrical wires obstructing the view, but they're not a problem). The vibrations while soaking in the slimy source water are pleasant, and the tofu (tofu) made in-house using 100% Hokkaido soy milk was delicious (soy sauce is good, but it's also good with salt). Also, for some reason, the rest area on the second floor is an adults-only space and children are not allowed to use it, which is also a rule at Touya (although I agree with that as there are no children and it's a quiet place to rest). As someone who has been experiencing hot spring facilities all over the country, it just felt like a regular spa bath...but there are other hot spring facilities that use natural hot spring water.

The number one super sento ☝️ The water is smooth and moist, straight from the source ♨️. The staff are always friendly and always welcoming, so it's a great feeling. It's a members-only facility, so it attracts a good clientele, and the baths are always quiet, making it a pleasant experience. On weekends, they offer all-you-can-eat bread from the attached Akariya Bakery, and the food is affordable and delicious. The mapo tofu, made with homemade tofu, is especially recommended, as it surpasses the quality of super sento meals. The baths have won numerous awards, including winning the 4th National Bath Koshien Tournament, ranking second in the Nifty Hot Springs Ranking 2023 for best water quality, and first in the hot spring and spa rankings. The facilities include an open-air bath, high-temperature bath, sauna, mist sauna, cold bath, reclining bath, and tub bath. While the facilities themselves are quite standard, the staff's excellent hospitality is likely what's winning them awards. Please read the flyer, which looks like the Touya Monogatari. I was a little nervous after reading other people's reviews, but I went anyway. The receptionist was nice and I didn't have any unpleasant experiences at all❗ The building was clean and tidy, which was great. The hot springs were spacious and had a wide variety of baths, making it a must-visit for hot spring lovers❗The sauna was also spacious and hot, which was great❗❗I went with friends and we chatted while soaking in the open-air bath, but we were never told off. For this price, I got a full day's stay, and I also got some bread at a discount in the evening, which was great. It's far from my house, but I've become a member, so I hope to go about twice a month❗

I went there right when it opened, and customers were arriving one after another. It was a shame that the temperature of the open-air bath (rock bath) was too low. I wish the reclining bath was a little deeper, but it's really hard in the winter.

Place itself is very well maintained with good facility. However, it's too expensive for what it is. Used to be cheaper but I was shocked with the new price. There are other better options and I will not come back here.
