Geto Kogen Onsen Usagimori no yu Hot Spring

I've lost track of how many times I've been since my first visit a few years ago, but the bath area is spacious, the views from the semi-open-air bath and the reclining bath are great, it's not very crowded, and there's an excellent free rest area, so I have nothing to complain about. The bath area is fully equipped with a large sauna and there are loyly twice a day, with ice being dumped into the cold bath each time. There is also a spacious open-air bathing area. However, I was kicked out once for some reason while in the sauna before a loyly. I don't know if it was because the system has changed or what, but it was the first time I'd been kicked out for just being in the sauna, and it was quite a shock, so I haven't been back since, and then there was the bear incident too. I really liked this hot spring, and I would invite friends to go with me, but after this incident I never went back, or rather I lost all interest in going.

I stop by when I'm on the slopes, but I'm always disappointed with the service. The service is mediocre for both men and women. I used a hot spring pass, but I didn't get a discount. Ripped off. No apology either. The open-air hot springs and sauna are great. The cold bath is quite cold at 14 degrees. The indoor bath is a little hot, but I like it hot, so that was fine. The baths are great, but the staff are so awful that I never use them just for the hot springs. Even when I snowboard, the relaxation I'm supposed to get from the hot springs is halved. A few years ago, as closing time approached, staff would wander around the baths as if to tell me to get out, which was really unpleasant.

I went to the hot springs for a day trip after seeing the autumn leaves. It was my first time here, but the facilities were impressive and the view from the open-air bath was amazing. However, I was surprised at how unusually lukewarm the indoor bath was! The open-air bath and the reclining bath were both unusually lukewarm! The reception didn't seem to have changed anything before or after my bath, so I wondered if this was normal and asked the receptionist, "Is it always this lukewarm?" They replied, "It was out of order today," without a single apology, and I was disappointed by their nonchalant response. It's a wonderful facility, but the customer service is disappointing.

I went there for a day trip to the hot springs. It's located inside the ski resort, which is quite exciting. Reception is in the hot spring area. The fee was 700 yen, and there was shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided. There was a washing area with 15 seats, an indoor bath (41°C), a large semi-open-air bath (40°C), a large sauna, a cold bath, and a reclining bath (closed). The water was clear and refreshing. The semi-open-air bath was amazing. The panoramic view was incredible. It's definitely worth coming just to see it.

The sauna is great. On weekends, there are also sauna therapists. It has four levels and can accommodate 15 people. The windows are large, and under good conditions, you can see the sacred Mt. Hayachine in the distance. The aroma is also great. The open-air bath also has a wonderful view of the mountains. The reclining bath is so comfortable that you might actually fall asleep. We will be temporarily closed for the holidays. We will reopen on December 5th, when the ski resort opens.
