Gintou Toji Shuraku

20260307 My second visit. I visited after shopping at the outlet mall. Once through the formal gate, I was transported to a tranquil, Japanese-style space that felt like another world, and it was incredibly relaxing. The thick, alkaline spring water really moisturized my skin. Soaking in the open-air tub bath and gazing at the sky was a luxurious experience that helped me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The sauna and bedrock baths were also of high quality, and the loyly service was recommended for those looking for a thorough detox. The entire facility was incredibly clean, and the staff were very attentive. There's no better place to reset after shopping. It can get crowded on weekends, but if you visit during the day on a weekday, you can enjoy a quiet, adult-friendly holiday. This is my favorite, hidden hot spring—a must-visit when you're in the Sanda area. If you're interested, give it a go.
吟湯 湯治聚落This modern Japanese-style building features a corridor-style design that surrounds a charming courtyard, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, resembling a hot spring inn and art gallery, offering a truly refreshing experience. The hot spring water originates from a natural alkaline spring in the Rokko Mountains and is known as "skin-beautifying water." It is said to make skin smooth and soft, relieve neuralgia, muscle aches, chronic digestive system diseases, and promote overall health. The comforting spring water will warm you from the inside out.
Wonderful onsen with a great rotenburo. Facilities are clean and beautiful. I love the rotenburo baths with a great view of trees. Also a great view from the sauna. There is a nice space to relax after bathing. Though perhaps unusual for an onsen, I enjoy the jazz music they play here. If you have an Aeon credit card or a JAF card, you can get a ¥50 yen discount. The onsen is close to KobeKita outlets and mall.
Very warm and relaxing ambience. You have to drive to get here but the parking is free. Location is a few mins drive from the fruit and flower garden as well as the factory outlet mall and Aeon Mall. Variety on the menu for the restaurant wasn't as great as other bath houses but food was good. The bath had 2 underwater tens machines (one stronger, one weaker) for your lower back which was unique and awesome!
The entry fee is 900 yen for adult, if you forget to bring the towel, it cost 300 yen for 1 set of towels. The temperature today ~ 6 degree is just right for hot spring. It has an outdoor hotspring and indoor hotspring. The water is mainly carbonated. After the hotspring, I feel really relaxed and my skin is as smooth as an egg. A real wonderful experience.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
