Gokuraku

I used to visit the Tsu store sporadically, but after moving, I visited the Sakai Senboku store for the first time. Like the Tsu store, there was an anime collaboration exhibit. My impressions are based on my visit to the sauna. The sauna was large, able to fit about 30 people. The temperature was around 90 degrees, which was sufficient. The cold bath didn't have a temperature indicator, but the water was just the right temperature and kept clean with charcoal. There were enough chairs for resting, four under the roof and about six others, even in the scorching heat. It's a fairly old facility, but it was kept clean and I appreciated it. I'd like to give it a 4-star rating, but for the following reasons, I'll give it a 3-star rating. The vending machine in the changing room had all sold out of 500ml drinks. I usually buy one in the changing room and drink it between sauna sessions, so it was a real pain. Next, the shaved ice I had after the bath was terrible. It was mostly just granulated ice, more like shaved ice than granulated ice. The syrup had pooled at the bottom, making it taste bland. I only took about three bites and left most of it. I wish they wouldn't sell things like this. I hope they've improved it the next time I go.

I went there because they were having a Haikyuu!! collaboration. You buy your ticket from the ticket machine, but you're a bit confused at this point. Which ticket should you buy? Many people were getting explanations from the staff. *It seems there are different types of tickets for use of the open-air bath and sauna. Be sure to check. Maybe it's because of the collaboration? The changing rooms and baths were packed with people. Since everyone was using them at the same time, the water pressure in the showers was low and the bath temperature was lukewarm. The open-air bath was very hot. And no matter how long I waited, the hair dryers never came free. It seems that people who aren't involved in the collaboration found it annoying. Personally, I think people who are there for the collaboration will enjoy themselves, as there are lots of decorations inside the building, which makes it fun to look for them, and there are a few more merchandise left than in other stores!!

The bath is spacious and there's even an open-air bath! Only women will know this, but the showers have a Mirable-type showerhead, which is a nice touch for women 😊 The water is quite hot, so those with small children should be careful when bathing. There were also children's chairs and a Bomba chair available. There was even a TV in the open-air bath. They also hold anime events, so there are panels and a wide variety of food options, making it fun! The prices aren't particularly cheap, but you can enjoy a meal whether you're with friends or alone 😊 Also, there are massage machines and a massage parlor, so it's a great facility for those who are tired.

I came here because of the Demon Slayer collaboration. I ordered over 30 minutes in advance, but it took a long time to arrive. When it finally did arrive, all I got was a "Sorry to keep you waiting." I asked why it was taking so long, but they just said "It's taking a while," and didn't seem too upset. The food for the person who ordered after me was served, and mine never arrived. And after waiting over 30 minutes, my food was cold. I was looking forward to the Demon Slayer collaboration, but it was ruined. I was also concerned about the customer base, which wasn't very friendly. I'll never come here again.

This is a medium-sized public bathhouse chain with locations nationwide. Compared to the most modern public bathhouses, the facilities are a bit dated, but there's nothing lacking in terms of amenities. They continuously collaborate with anime series, offering merchandise and restaurant menus, which has garnered them a large fan base. The ability to pay via smartphone (various methods) is also a great advantage. They offer early morning discounts, the restaurant menu is delicious, and you can easily spend more than half a day there.
