On Sunday, May 25th, I went to the Saitama Kofun Group and worked up a sweat, so I decided to check out this place I'd heard had recently reopened. It was before 2 PM and I hadn't had lunch, so I started with lunch. Looking at the menu... hmm... it seemed a bit pricey, the selection was limited, and there were a lot of noodle dishes... it wasn't particularly impressive. I bought my order from the ticket machine, but it took quite a while for all the dishes to arrive. The food wasn't bad, though... After finishing my meal, I went to the baths. The baths and spring quality were pretty good. There are three types of indoor baths (excluding the cold bath), and four outdoor baths (excluding the sitting bath) with three types. None of the baths are too hot, around 40°C, making them comfortable even for children. There are also two hot springs, both indoors and outdoors, and they're spacious enough for a relaxing soak. The rest area is quite spacious on the second floor, excluding the bedrock bath. However... there was no smoking area. Maybe that's why there were so many families with small children? It was nice that there weren't many visitors between 2pm and 4pm on a Sunday, so I could take my time, but I'm not sure if I'll return.

You enter after purchasing a ticket from the vending machine at the entrance. They also sell menu items like curry rice, so it seems you can enter just to eat or drink. It's not a touch-key system, so you need to pay each time you buy drinks inside. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are clean ♨️ There's a sauna. You don't need a coin for the shoe lockers, but you do need 100 yen for the lockers in the changing room. The indoor bath has more space and a larger bathtub. The outdoor bath isn't that big, but it has a pot-shaped bath and a cypress bath. The relaxation area on the second floor is well-equipped, with places to lie down and read manga, and chairs where you can lie down. When I visited on a weekday, there were very few customers, which was unusually comfortable for a public bathhouse. Perhaps the reopening isn't widely known, or is it a location issue? In any case, it was a great public bathhouse ☺

After two closures, it's back! I've been coming here since 2002, bringing my late parents and my young son and daughter. I'm honestly so happy it's back! It looks beautiful and hasn't changed at all since the renovation. Maybe because it was a weekday, there weren't many customers, so I was able to relax. I imagine it gets crowded on weekends and holidays. The jetted tub here is also very strong. The only downside is that most people were in the sauna. They jumped straight into the cold bath without rinsing off. I wish customers with no common sense like that would go to a nearby bath. I don't think they're the kind of people who would understand what you're saying, so I wish they'd put up a big sign by the cold bath. I'll be back often!

It was my first time using the facility. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor baths, but the water was lukewarm, around 38-39 degrees Celsius on the thermometer. This was comfortable for me, as I don't like hot water. However, the washing area was not very user-friendly. The faucets have separate buttons for hot and cold water. There is also a button for the shower, but the temperature could not be adjusted and the water was a little hot. There were several spacious rest areas, so I was able to relax after my bath. I had eaten fries and fried jelly nearby before coming, so I didn't eat there, but the restaurant was a little small and the menu was limited.

After touring Oshi Castle, I visited this recently renovated facility. The parking lot in front is small, but there's a larger one in the back. Considering its location in the city center, the facility is spacious. The outdoor bath area is also large and nice. The indoor jet-like bath was as powerful as a rocket engine, which scared me (lol). That's probably dangerous for kids, lol. At the restaurant, I ordered something like a sticky rice bowl. It was refreshing and delicious on a hot day. The vanilla ice cream I ordered for dessert was about three times the size of the illustration on the menu, and I was very satisfied.
