I heard there were cats there, so I went, but I didn't see any! I asked my older son, who also goes there, and he said he's been there a few times but never saw any... My younger son loves cats, so I'd like to go again. The men's and women's baths seem to switch between even and odd days, and since we went on an even day, we were in the bath on the right. As for the baths, they close earlier than usual, so we arrived earlier than usual, but there were a lot of families there, so the changing room was packed. There were only about eight washing areas inside, and I wondered what I'd do if it was crowded, but there was also a washing area in the open-air bath (outside). The baths were relatively empty. I visited in December. The open-air cypress bath was crowded, so I went in the tub bath, but it was really lukewarm and cold, so I climbed the stairs and went into the Tekken bath, which was a little hotter and felt great. The baths were small, so I had them all to myself, and I could relax while watching the moon. The Kofun Bath right in front of it was even hotter. I couldn't stay in the hot water for long, so I went into Mitsumi Bath, which was further up, and it was neither too hot nor too lukewarm. It's enclosed by glass, so no wind gets in and I was able to relax. I went downstairs and went into Kodairen Bath, which was also lukewarm! It's perfect for when you're feeling a little hot. But it started to get cold, so I ran up to my favorite Tekken Bath again (lol). I kept going up and down the stairs: Tekken → Kodairen → Tekken → Kodairen (lol). When I came out of Mitsumi Bath, I saw two little girls in the hot Kofun Bath. They were quietly soaking quietly without saying a word. I thought they were great, but I wondered if they weren't too hot. Thinking this, I couldn't help but ask, "Isn't that bath hot?" (lol) He replied, "It's hot!" and "Really hot!" So I replied, "You're right (lol). The glass bath above is warmer. There's no one here right now, so you can take a nice long bath." He happily ran upstairs, exclaiming, "What?! There's still a bath over here?! Thank you!" So cute! Wherever I go to a hot spring facility, I'm always annoyed by the noisy group of young girls who just keep talking, but the kids are so much more polite and quiet! I was pretty hot, so I washed my hair in the outdoor shower and was about to leave, but then I got hit with another Tekken → Kodai Ren... I wanted to stay in the bath longer, but I ran out of time and gave up. It's far away, so I can't go often, but my youngest son wants to meet the cats, so I'll definitely go again!

I use this facility often. Although it was built in the Heisei era, it has a very Showa-era feel to it, but once you step inside, you'll find an unexpectedly beautiful atmosphere. The exterior of the facility might look intimidating, but be brave and try; it's actually more normal than you'd think. The cats, which are one of the highlights of this facility, are guided at the reception desk with a 20% chance of meeting one. They are animals, so it can't be helped. If you ask the reception staff for a cat, they will let you out as long as it's not sleeping, so it's best to be brave. I've included the results in the photo. You can enjoy the baths on the left and right sides, which rotate daily. The only difference between the left and right sides is whether or not there is a carbonated hot spring, but as a regular customer, I appreciate the fact that there are two different types to keep you entertained. There are many open-air baths, but since they all come from the same source, the contents are the same. Enjoy the different views from each hot spring. The scenic views from the open-air area are truly breathtaking. I've visited over 200 facilities in the past, and the majestic views from the open-air areas are in the top three, providing a placebo effect that enhances the hot spring's benefits. Of the over 200 facilities I've visited in the past, the cold bath is by far the best. The cold bath alone is enough to draw people in, and memories of visiting various facilities that claim to have some of the best cold baths in the country have faded. Everything else is now normal. The cold bath is incredible. The dining area is in a different building from the reception, so it can be a bit confusing at first glance, but the Chinese food is delicious. The two top dishes, thick noodles with black vinegar and stir-fried liver and vanilla leek, are sure to get your taste buds excited. The service from the staff varies from person to person, but I think the general standard is high. You will feel the effects of the weather as you pass through an open-air area on your way from reception to the bath. The staff carefully read the reviews, so I was surprised at how quickly they made improvements that I felt were greatly improved.

Also, is it really 100% free-flowing? There were many things I didn't understand, making it difficult to rate. Cleanliness Honestly, the baths are quite dilapidated, making it difficult to assess their cleanliness. If you like modern super sento, I'd definitely rate this one a 1-star. It seems like they've put a lot of effort into maintaining it. Comfort: The water is generally lukewarm, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who don't like lukewarm water. The open-air baths are particularly cold in the winter. Comfort is also related to cleanliness, so it was difficult for me to rate it. Water Quality The meta-calcium content was a little high at 47mg, but the total count of other ions was not that high at 369mg yang and 850mg yin. It's probably a little higher than hot springs in Tokyo. Rest Area There was a smoking area right in front of the hot spring, and cigarette smoke leaked into the building, which was very unpleasant. Therefore, I downgraded it to 2 stars. If it weren't for this, I would have given it 3 stars. As mentioned above, it was difficult to rate due to the various factors, and considering the overall balance, I gave it 2 stars, and I don't think I'll be returning. I think it's an interesting hot spring facility because they also host stage productions, but that's my rating.

It was my first time in the Gyoda area. At the beginning of the Obon season, I decided to drop by first thing in the afternoon as I'd heard they had natural hot springs and a sauna. They said there was a weekday and weekend rate during the Obon period, but it was less than 1,000 yen, which is on the cheap side for a facility like this these days. It was in the theater space within the facility, and perhaps because it was during a popular theater performance, there seemed to be plenty of space in all the baths. The sauna and cold baths were well-designed, and the open-air space was spacious, exceeding my expectations. However, it started to get crowded just after 3 p.m., when the matinee performance of the popular theater performance ended, so I left just in time. This is a facility I'll definitely visit again on a different day and time.

I went there hoping to enjoy a warm hot spring and meet some cats. I was thrilled to meet the adorable Tono-chan and Fuku-chan and even get to pet them 😍 The hot spring was just the temperature I expected, so I was able to relax. There are a variety of small baths built to resemble ancient tombs nearby, which is interesting. The bath, which is like a small greenhouse on a hill, felt special. I wanted to relax in the evening, but the thunderstorm was so bad I got scared and left early. The next morning, the men's and women's sections were switched, so I was able to enjoy it again 😊 There are mosquito coils provided to protect against insects outside, but I didn't mind the smell. The building was clean, and the room was comfortable and relaxing. The staff were also polite and very nice, so I would definitely like to go again 🌅
