I had such a lovely experience at this hidden gem in Nara! It’s not your typical Onsen (Sento), but it’s a perfect introduction if you’re curious about Japanese bathing culture but not quite ready for the full onsen experience. The place has a very traditional, authentic feel, walking in really makes you feel like you’re stepping into a local experience. The price is incredibly reasonable, only 480 yen (~$3.20 USD) for adults, and even cheaper for kids, which makes it ideal if you’ve been exploring Nara all day and just need a quick refresh and recharge. They even provide shampoos and other toiletries, so you don’t need to bring anything. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming. What really made it special, though, was the staff. The owner and workers were so kind and friendly, which made the visit feel warm and personal. I also took a couple of photos to remember the experience, it’s definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone wanting a traditional, affordable, and relaxing stop during their Nara adventures.

provided: towels, shampoo, body wash, lotion, cotton swabs, small lockers, small snacks. mineral bath, super hot bath, warm-to-hot bath. what a true honor to experience this OG local sento. it was like time traveling to old ways of bathing in traditional Japanese community. many local elders continue using this as their local bath and yet the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming to tourists with tattoos. please treat with immense respect. it's not today's new modern luxurious experience but its where it all started.

Owners were friendly and accommodating, there was no charge for towel and provided soap and shampoo. Tattoo friendly, super OG, the population seem to be uncles and grandpas. The only thing is its missing a cold tub, hence 4 instead of 5 star. Please consider that the price is only 4xx yen, what more do you expect?

Very nice people there, the lady provides towels and soaps, and there are posters with etiquette on the walls so don’t have to worry about doing something wrong. Baths were very hot and cozy and some snacks are provided on the side. Met the owner who is very nice as well

It is a small sento. Tattoo and foreigner-friendly. There is one moderately hot tub, one very hot and one with minerals. There are rentals there. Enjoy.
