Hanyu Hot Spring

■Date Saturday, February 22, 2026 Arrived at 10:00 AM ■Access Approximately a 12-minute walk from Minami-Hanyu Station ■Crowdedness/Lockers More than 20 men The lockers were bright and not cramped. ■Hot Springs/Price Sodium chloride bicarbonate spring / ¥1,000 on weekends and holidays •Water temperature: 44.5°C •Flow rate: 242.5 liters (power pump) •pH: 8.4 •Total dissolved solids: 1,759g The hot springs are available in both the indoor and outdoor baths. Boarded directly from the source. The hot spring water is slightly yellowish and has a scent reminiscent of mouthwash, a common feature of iodine springs. It feels smooth to the touch. The temperature is high, around 44°C. The temperature drops further away from the outlet in the same bath. There is a steam sauna in the outdoor bath. There is a foot bath within the sauna, and visibility is poor due to the steam. However, it's a welcome addition for those who don't like hot saunas. There was no salt available. In addition to the hot springs, there was an aromatic bath, which probably changed daily. There was no carbonated bath. ■Amenities Shampoo/Body Soap: Available Hair Dryer: Available (Free) Lotion, etc.: Hair tonic available Other: Nothing in particular ■Overall The hot spring water is chloride-based, so it warms the body. It's great for cold weather.
I bought a coupon and use it every month. The quality is excellent and my skin is left smooth every time, and there are many types of hot springs♨️ so I never get bored. I don't like saunas, so I usually go to the hot spring water and the cold bath. The open-air bath also has a sense of openness and allows me to escape reality. The dining area is spacious and serves sauna food, and I always eat kalbi gukbap🌶️, which is delicious (#^.^#)
So peaceful and relaxing. The beauty of the hot springs is particularly radiant at night. Very clean facility. I also put the snoozing/reading room to good use. It was so nice I visited it twice during my stay
Very nice onsen, very clean and well maintained. After a long day of shopping in Tokyo nothing feels better then soaking in the onsen. The restaurants and gift shops are also very nice. Defiantly recommended
Great public bath with outdoor bath that has a high temperature onsen.
