The receptionist told me that the west side is smaller but faces the ocean, and the east side, facing the mountains, is larger, so I decided to go to the west side, which seemed to have a nice view. It would probably be dark at night, but since I took a morning bath, the outside looked beautiful. A hair dryer, lotion, and toner were provided, as well as a water cooler and paper cups, so I could stay hydrated. It's hidden from view, so of course, you can't see the outside unless you're standing. However, there is a small window at the bottom, so if you open it, you might be able to see outside while soaking in the tub. But there was a sign saying not to open it to prevent insects from getting in, so I didn't. I used it on a camping trip, and it's nice not to have to worry about a bath even when camping.

This is a National Vacation Village facility, so I've never seen anyone using the hot springs for a day trip. If they had that much free time, they'd much rather be playing with the rabbits! The hot springs here are practically for overnight guests only. And there are even two types of hot springs... If you want to enjoy the hot springs, you should definitely stay overnight, and the food is delicious too! What's great is that all meals are buffet style! For someone as picky as me, that's fantastic! Just using the hot springs would be a waste! You can't fully experience Okunoshima Island without staying at least two nights! It's a great place! You should definitely come at least once! You'll get hooked! Play with the rabbits and become stress-free!

The accommodations at Okunoshima's National Vacation Village have hot springs that are open to day visitors. I remember it was around 400 yen... (I think it's a little cheaper for overnight guests). Being a woman, I used the women's bath, but there was only an elderly woman and a small child there, so I was able to relax and unwind for the first time in a while... Even though I don't really like bathing with other people, a hot spring is nice every once in a while. ❤️ You'll need to bring your own towel. If they don't have any, you can buy one. Either way, you'll pay at the front desk.

There are two baths in the Kyuka Mura, and the one facing the ocean is called Kokutsu-no-yu. It can accommodate six people. It's not large, but the design is Showa-era and it's clean. It's a shame that you can't see the outside scenery when you bathe.

I was able to use it as a day trip hot spring. It was great because I could not only play with the rabbits but also walk around the island and get sweaty, and then come here to wash off the sweat and feel refreshed.
