September 2024 🎉 First time at Kannon no Yu 🎉 This time, I stayed at the bath and enjoyed a meal. As you can see in the picture, the "Kamameshi C Set Meal" is more than enough to eat after a bath. *Please note that if there are multiple reservations, menu selection may not be available. You pay before entering the bath, but if you let them know your approximate meal time at that time, they will prepare it for you. Mineral water and canned beer were also available for purchase. The hot spring water is said to be radium hot spring water. The water temperature wasn't too high, so I was able to relax for about an hour, breathing slowly through my nose, and soak in the waist bath, foot bath, and even shoulder-deep bath. However, I still felt hot for several hours afterward. (No need for a sauna, lol.) I thought it was because I soaked too long, but my partner, who didn't stay in the bath for long, agreed. The bathtub can fit about six people. *When I entered the bathroom from the changing room, I could smell a strong chlorine smell, but I felt that it was well managed in a sense. If you have a constitution that is sensitive to the chlorine smell, you may want to be careful. There are also lockers with keys in the changing room, but there is only one key, so you may want to use the lockers with keys in front of the changing room.

I visited for the first time after looking for a day trip hot spring on my way back from a drive. The opening hours of other hot springs didn't suit me, so this one was open for long hours even for day trips, which was helpful. There is a safe for valuables. The water is good and warms the body well, but it's also quite hot. The radium spring is great for relieving pain and fatigue. There is a door inside, so I was hoping for an open-air bath, but there isn't; there is only one indoor bath. The shower on the far right of the washing area doesn't work, and the button next to it is broken and comes off every time you touch it. When I checked in at the front desk, I had to press the bell multiple times before someone finally came, which made me feel uneasy, and when I left there was no one there so I just called out to them. There don't seem to be any convenience stores or vending machines nearby, so it's probably a good idea to bring your own water with you.

It was a small bathhouse like a family bath. There were four showers and two shampoos and body soaps. The woman I was with there was mean and tried to take the shampoo away from me, which made me feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, there were two showers so I was able to use the one further away, but it was extremely unpleasant throughout my bath. I ordered a sashimi set meal when I visited, so I was able to relax. It seems like the bathhouse might be reserved for private use depending on the time of day.

You can travel back in time. If you like Showa retro, it's worth going at least once. The atmosphere of the building gives the impression of the 1950s to 60s. The parking lot is a little small, so you may have trouble finding a parking space on weekends and holidays. Also, there is only space for three people in the washing area, and the bathtub is full when three people bathe. If you can go on a weekday, I would rate it 5 stars.

The radium hot springs warm the body very well. The changing room only had unlocked lockers and shelves, so some unruly customers ransacked and tossed their clothes around. My hat and vest were also tossed in the waiting room at the entrance, and my socks were never found. The water was nice, but I've never felt so bad after a bath. It's a small facility, but I'd like them to install locked shelves and lockers.
