Hijirinone

I stopped by "Gyokukoyu Hijirinone Fushimi Branch" in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, where I regularly clean. 🚗 The traditional Kyoto atmosphere is so calming. ✨ The first thing that caught my eye was the highly concentrated carbonated spring water. 💭 The bubbles clung to my skin, enveloping my entire body. 🫧 Then, I tried Kyoto's first "Reitokusui" bath, with a water temperature of 10°C. 🥶 Combining it with the sauna was the ultimate relaxing experience. 🧖♂️ The Tower Sauna's auto-loyly! A heat wave that occurs every hour for five minutes envelops your body 🔥 After thoroughly sweating in a room with a room temperature of 85-90°C, a soothing dip in cold water feels like a total rebirth 💫 In the open-air bath, I soothed my fatigue while feeling the Kyoto air on my skin 🌙 The electric bath tingled deeply, stimulating my muscles 🔌 It seems like it would also be effective for stiff shoulders from cleaning jobs 💪 The Finnish sauna was also fully equipped, allowing sweat to flow like a waterfall 💦 A little stretching session to loosen up your body was also a nice touch 🧘♂️ After the bath, I enjoyed local cuisine at "Fushimi Shokudo Hanazukashi" 🍚 The food was exceptional, relaxing in the sunken kotatsu seating 🍲 If I brought my kids, I'm sure they'd love the kids' corner. 👨👧👦 With gachapon machines and crane games, it felt like a very family-friendly facility. 🎮 I also got some gifts for my family in the souvenir corner. 🎁 Even as a cleaning professional, I was relieved to see that the entire facility was kept clean. 🧼 I enjoyed the sauna, cold bath, and open-air bath, and it was a very satisfying super-sento experience. 🌟

I visited on a Sunday evening. Perhaps because it's a popular facility, the parking lot was full. You can park for free for four hours by passing the checker next to the reception desk. The indoor baths offer a wide variety of options, including an electric bath, jet bath, hot water, and carbonated springs. They're unique, featuring a large mural of the Seven Lucky Gods (frogs). The carbonated springs are lightly carbonated, and the tub is large enough to fit five or six people. The hot water tub is large but quite hot. There were lots of bubbles spewing out in the center, creating a vibrating bath. The open-air bath isn't particularly large, but it uses natural hot spring water from Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture. The water is a soft, baking soda carbonated spring with just the right temperature. I was able to relax and unwind. The bathing fee is 850 yen on weekdays and 950 yen on weekends and holidays. The dining room is spacious and offers a wide variety of menu items, including set meals, noodles, and rice bowls, with a large selection of Japanese dishes.

It's been a while since I last visited a super sento, and the sauna facilities were more authentic than I expected, so I was very satisfied! The Finnish-style sauna's auto-loyly was especially great. Even though the set temperature was around 90°C, the automatic loyly periodically increased the humidity, making the perceived temperature soar. Even among the facilities I've been to, the heat wave was particularly strong, and I felt like, "This is a sauna!" I really worked up a sweat. The difference in temperature after the cold bath was incredible! The cold bath was ice-cold at around 16°C, and alternating between the sauna and the cold bath felt amazing. It really helped me relax, and I was completely in ecstasy by the third set (lol). The open-air area was spacious, with ample resting space, and it was clean and relaxing. It wasn't too crowded, even on a holiday, so it was comfortable. I can confidently recommend this facility to sauna lovers. I'll definitely be returning soon!

We took a public bus no.2 from JR Nakaokakyo station, alight at Hishikawa around 12:50pm, then walked about 3 minutes arriving at Hijirinone Osen. The foods served in the restaurant were very delicious and affordable (tempura & soba set, & beef don set meals). After meal, I enjoy the electric baths and carbonated onsen (indoor). The outdoor onsen baths are small allow bout 10 paxs in the pool. In door carbonated pool very small allow 5 paxs. Jacuzzi bath size also small, allow 5 paxs in the pool. Temperature of water is within comfortable level. A cold pool shows 10C, but I did not try. Generally, it is considered a very good, bright, clean, well maintained place. Bath pricing at 850yen on weekday, still affordable.

The parking lot 🅿️ can accommodate about 30 cars! I think bath users get 4 hours free🆓! There's also an open-air bath and a place to eat. There are two cold baths that are perfect for sauna lovers! One is for single use and is even colder than a regular cold bath, making it icy cold! There are TVs📺 in both the sauna and the open-air bath! You can also get ice cream and drink coffee milk🥛! I don't think they had milk💦 They also had bottled cola🫙🤭 There's a variety of things to enjoy❗️
