Rating 3🧊 There's a bladeless fan, a water server (or ice dispenser?) but no paper cups; instead, there's a container of ice and tongs. There are other showers in the works, including a full-body shower with multiple shower heads, but they're still being adjusted. There's also a hair dryer and hair wash. Shoe lockers cost an additional 100 yen, and bathing fees are cash-only. Adults are 700 yen regardless of weekdays, weekends, or holidays, with a late-night fee of 600 yen after 10:00 PM every day. There's a rest area with manga and a dining area. The bath area is indoors. From right to left: ① Vibrating Bath, ② Super Jet Bath, ③ Electric Bath (you can stretch your legs while the water hits your back and soles at the same time), ④ Sauna (92°C), ⑤ Cold Water Bath, ⑥ Reclining Jet Bath, and ⑦ Binchotan Charcoal Bath. Outdoor bath (open-air bath) 8. Carbonated bath (called a cypress bath but not all of it is made of cypress) 9. Tsubo bath 10. Artificial hot spring (warm, with binchotan charcoal in the walls). Even though it's not a water server, I'm happy to receive ice service because I like being steamed in the sauna with ice in my mouth. Sauna facilities that I've found that offer ice service so far are Kobe Sauna & Spa, Sauna Eagle, Shin Gifu Sauna, Yurakus, Basho no Yu, Hoshi no Yu, Kanazawa Yume no Yu, and Nico Refre.

The 800 yen adult admission fee is the same as or slightly more expensive than other places. You leave your shoe locker key in exchange for a locker key, which is a rare system these days. As far as I can remember, it's been around for over 20 years, but the management seems to have changed several times. It used to be bustling, but now it's somehow deserted. The facilities aren't exactly well maintained either. There are warning notices, rather than notices like the one in the photo, posted all over the building, making it feel like you can't take a break. I guess the high oil prices and COVID-19 have had a significant impact.

I went there after seeing the illuminations at Nabana no Sato. The bad points: 1. The initial shower was a little hot (maybe because it was winter and my body was cold). 2. The water pressure in the shower was low. 3. First-time customers couldn't figure out where the baths were located. 4. The lighting was generally dim (especially in the dining area). 5. There were no instructions on how to use the bath when entering. The good points: 1. The food in the dining area was delicious. 😋 2. There weren't many customers, so it was easy to use the hair dryer, etc.

Great Onsen! Men pay ¥800, if you rent a towel set it costs ¥350. First leave your shoes at the entrance and get the key from the locker. Go to the reception, hand over the key to your shoes and receive another key for the locker. Always keep this key with you. There are showers at the Onsen where you can take a shower before entering the Onsen. When you leave, hand over the key to the locker and receive the key for the shoe locker. Attention: You are not allowed to enter with tattoos! If the tattoo is small, cover it with special tape for this purpose.

Sauna: 6 minutes x 1 Cold bath: 1 minute x 1 Rest: 10 minutes x 1 Total: 1 set Comment: On the way back from climbing Mt. Ryugatake in Suzuka, I stopped by "Hoshino-yu" ♨️. Far-infrared sauna. It sizzles every minute. Hot, humid, and refreshing. The cold bath is cold and refreshing. This place is great! 🙆‼️ Drinking water is served with ice and water, but there are no cups, so be aware. The Yukgaejang and Taiwanese mixed noodles were even more delicious than expected. I felt refreshed and invigorated! Thank you! "Hoshino-yu" ♨
