伊勢志摩温泉 ひまわりの湯

Since it's located next to Shima Spain Village, we stopped by on our way back from playing at the park! We received a discount coupon from the official hotel where we stayed the night before, so we were able to enter for a day trip bath for 900 yen per person (adults aged 13 and over). You need to return to the first parking lot from the second parking lot and re-enter the parking area. If you go to the white wall of the first parking lot (towards Hotel Shima Spain Village), there's a payment machine inside the parking lot. Pay first (1,300 yen), and then hand the receipt to the reception for a refund! It seemed like there were many hotel guests and people who wanted to take a bath before heading home, so the bath was a bit crowded. The water here is very smooth and leaves your skin feeling silky after bathing. Shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and makeup remover are all provided, so if you're not particular about them, you only need to bring a change of clothes! Towels are also provided at the reception; they lend you one face towel and one bath towel (included in the price, so it's free). You can take the face towel home! There's a small open-air bath, though it's a bit cramped. ⭐ If you're lucky, you can see a beautiful sunset! There's a small souvenir shop, but no restaurant or dining area. There are vending machines and a few arcade games. Furthermore, there's a tatami room and sofas in the back where you can relax.

I've used the day spa a few times and was quite satisfied, but I no longer want to go there after discovering that one female staff member had no common sense. One staff member was strict about onsen etiquette. One staff member with unreasonable manners chased me and got angry. I felt she was a little hysterical. Is this really what they do to people who pay to come to the onsen for relaxation? I felt extremely annoyed, wondering if they couldn't speak more tactfully and not make the other person feel uncomfortable. I got the impression that some of the staff were a little strange, perhaps not aware that they were in the customer service industry. This was the first time I'd ever experienced anything like this. My weekend trip to the onsen for relaxation was ruined by a hysterical staff member. I want my money back.

I used this facility while staying at a hotel in Spain Village. If you check in at the hotel front desk, you can enter your room before 3 PM. You can also enter after checkout. If you're staying overnight, you'll need to bring a bath towel and other towels from your room, but they will lend you bath towels and other towels before check-in, after check-out, or for day trips. (You can take the towels with you.) Both the indoor and outdoor baths are spacious, and there's also a sauna and cold bath. There are plenty of washing areas. There are also several baby baths for babies in diapers. The water is nice and slightly lukewarm. The changing rooms and post-bath area are spacious, and the staff are all very friendly. This is one of my favorite hot springs.

The hot spring water was great! We used the hot spring for a day trip. The bath costs 1,400 yen per person. The entrance can be very difficult to find if you're coming by car...it's inside Spain Village. Apparently, the first parking lot is the closest to the bathhouse. The parking fee is 1,300 yen, but if you pay in advance and show your receipt at the front desk, they will deduct it from the bath fee. The payment machine was very hard to find, so I've attached a photo. There are stairs leading to the hotel, and before you go down (before leaving the parking lot), there is a payment machine on the right-hand side. (Maybe between the roller coaster and the hotel?) Even if you didn't find it and just went in, they still gave you a parking ticket.

I took a day trip to Himawari no Yu. It's one of the facilities you can enter with the Mawariyanse pass. The entrance fee of 1400 yen is waived, so it's recommended for those sightseeing with the Mawariyanse pass. Face towels and bath towels are included in the price, so you can come empty-handed. It's spacious enough to relax in, so it's also recommended to take a bath after getting tired from playing at Shima Spain Village. By the way, it took an adult 13 minutes to walk from the entrance of Shima Spain Village to Himawari no Yu. A bus departs every 20 minutes from Himawari no Yu to the Shima Spain Village bus stop. If you plan to take the bus, it's a good idea to ask about the bus schedule at the reception so that your schedule goes smoothly.
