Ishizuchisanhigaeri Hot Spring

This isn't for those expecting too much from a hot spring, but the milky white water is unlike any other in Shikoku. I went in after a long time, and it seemed cleaner than before. The facility itself is old, the shower pressure is weak, and it took quite a while for the water to warm up. There's only one bath bucket. The water is slippery and smooth. I descended the mountain early in the morning, so there were no other users, and I was able to relax. If you park in the Kyoya parking lot, one person's parking is free with your parking ticket. The parking lot staff are friendly. If you park in the spot with the old man and young woman closer to the entrance, you won't get the discount. They're a bit pushy, but you have to try hard to get past them (lol).

This long-established hot spring, unique in Shikoku, boasts milky white water and an abundant cold bicarbonate mineral spring, exuding a wonderful old-fashioned charm. The milky white water is perfect for soothing your tired body after a hike, with creamy hot spring deposits settling at the bottom. Entry is 500 yen, and the tub is shallow and suitable for small groups. The building is old, but the showers and shoe lockers are new, and hair dryers are free. Shampoo and body soap are also provided. For 500 yen, it's enough to quickly wash off the sweat, so it's fine for a quick dip.

It is said to be the only hot spring in Shikoku that has cloudy white water and bicarbonate cold mineral springs that are rich in carbonic acid, and creamy Yunohana is deposited at the bottom of the bathtub.It is a wonderful old-fashioned hot spring and inn! There aren't many long-established hot springs like this that have been around since the good old days, so I hope it will continue to be here.

A simple hot spring with just one bathtub. The hot spring water is only replenished occasionally, but the entire facility is a jacuzzi, and the milky white water is a great way to soothe your fatigue. Shampoo and body soap were also provided, but we didn't use them, so we don't know the details. If you park in the car park, one person can use it for free, so it's a good deal.

It’s nice to clean yourself after a hike up the mountain. Other than that it’s a very basic onsen, one bath which was not particularly hot, lockers and showers with shampoo/body soap. There is no towel rental so be sure to bring your own or prepare to air dry yourself. Relatively clean and the guy running it was around to let you in, but it’s just a bath.
