The weather was nice and the road conditions were good, so I took a drive and visited for the first time. The bath fee includes everything from towels and bath towels to indoor and rock bath wear, and the price is a bargain at 950 yen on weekdays and 1,100 yen on weekends and holidays! The baths are apparently free-flowing from natural hot springs, with a greenish-yellow, salty salt spring. The indoor baths include a regular bath, a bubble bath, a single-person carbonated bath, a high-temperature sauna, and a cold bath. There's also an open-air bath, a barrel sauna, and a barrel-cold bath. The tubs are small, and the water isn't particularly hot, but it leaves your skin smooth and warm for a while after you get out. The high-temperature sauna is spacious and comfortable, and you can do self-loyly in the barrel sauna. The cold bath is ice-cold. There are plenty of washing areas, so there's plenty of space. The only downsides are the lockers in the changing room: 1) They're not high enough, making it difficult to store down jackets and coats in winter. 2) They're two-tiered, so people have to wait all over to get changed. The narrow aisles may also be a factor. The food menu is extensive and reasonably priced, and paying afterward with a wristband is convenient. The menu was so overwhelming that I couldn't decide, so I chose the colorful vegetable curry and a healthy vinegar drink with a berry mix. The curry was sweet, followed by a slight spiciness. The vinegar drink had just the right amount of sourness to wake me up! There were also plenty of manga available in the rest area, so I could relax. I didn't try the bedrock bath this time, but next time I'd like to relax a bit more.

I used this facility for a bath, a meal, and a short rest during a sudden trip back to my parents' home. This facility uses a system where everything is managed with a locker key (containing an IC tag). Upon arrival, you receive a locker key at the reception in exchange for your shoe locker key. Payment (excluding vending machines inside the building) is made later, including bathing and meals. Regarding the baths, they aren't particularly spacious, but the variety is decent. The carbonated bath (I think?) is especially recommended; although slightly lukewarm, it's a single-person bath, so you can enjoy it without worrying about other people. However... this was my first time using this facility, and having been used to places where you buy tickets from a vending machine, I honestly found the system and how to use it a bit confusing. In addition, I personally felt that 980 yen per adult on weekdays was... - Includes bath towels, etc. - Free amenities (In the men's bath, razors and toothbrushes are provided in the changing room. Shaving foam is a type that doubles as facial cleanser.) - Fully equipped rest area (blankets available for free rental) While the price is certainly justifiable considering everything included, compared to the prices of other bathing (hot spring) facilities in my usual area... I honestly couldn't help but feel it was a bit expensive. Also, the food court staff seemed nice and left a good impression! However, the receptionist was a bit unfriendly, which was a negative point. Honestly, if you asked me if I would return... Considering the price and location, I'd say it depends on my mood.

I went to Iwamizawa Onsen Honoka! It was my first time at Onsen Honoka, so I just went in without knowing anything! Even though they explained everything to me, it was my first time, so I didn't understand... ※Please don't assume everyone already knows everything! (tears) Maybe it's because it's only 24 hours... The baths, washing areas, and sauna were...well, that's about it. So, I guess it's best not to get your hopes up... ※The cleaning and equipment maintenance costs seem like a lot... The bedrock bath was beautiful. The manga section in the rest area was well-stocked! I'd like to return just for the bedrock bath. Bonus 4 stars Thanks.

A two-minute drive from JR Kamihoromukai Station. A chain of spa resorts located along National Route 12. There is a spacious on-site parking lot with free parking for 250 cars. My first visit was on a weekday at the end of October 2025. The brown, natural hot spring water pumped up from the source on-site warms you from the inside out and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. The sauna has high humidity, making it very comfortable. There are four types of bedrock baths, a manga corner, and late-night stays are also available. I was able to spend a relaxing and comfortable day here. The staff were also very polite and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant place to relax and recover when we were camping. Weather had been quite bad and the bugs were out in droves so we went here for the evening. Loads of places to relax. Great choice of pools to enjoy, quiet rooms to grab a snooze, hot stone rooms to roast your body. The food was good, it was really busy but we got fed quickly. I have tattoos, but I managed to get away with not getting kicked out. They do say no tattoos though :-/ I wish they would sell their PJ they lend you as they were REALLY comfortable!!
