As a Millennial American covered in tattoos, I finally got to experience the peace of an Onsen. What a joy! It was only 1,000 yen and included indoor and outdoor headed baths, a sauna, and cold tub. Come between 2-5p where it’s open to the public aka those with tattoos. My favorite part was in the website it says, “those with tattoos / in organized crime.” 😅🫶 Bonus, there’s beer and snacks available after your dip. All you have to do is show up at 2pm and buy a ticket from the little vending machine inside. Towels are also provided for a small expense. Worth it!!!

Fantastic Onsen with friendly staff. When we went it was not too busy and my partner and there were only 2-3 other groups. You can buy tickets on the day at the vending machine for 1,000 yen per person. The facility is very clean and the outdoor baths are beautiful. Thank you for a great experience 😊

Excellent onsen with outdoor bath for men! The outdoor hot spring is set in a basin of polished rocks. It is a very pleasant experience in the evening when temperatures drop. The restaurant on tatami is very relaxing after a long hot bath.

It is everything you could expect! Hot water friendly folks surrounded by awe inspiring mountains! They do allow tattoos but only for part of the day which is a perk if you are traveling from out of the county.

The onsen is pretty, but nothing exceptional for the price. 900yens without towel.yet there is a rotenburo (outdoor bath) , a sauna and a special pinky bath . No view on the lake from inside.
