This is a perfect day-trip hot spring for a quick trip by yourself. There's a large bath and... I think it's a cold bath? It was empty so I'm not sure what it's for, and an open-air bath. There's a sign that says "health resort" at the entrance, so I think it's more of a place for locals to relax rather than sightseeing (and enjoying the scenery). There's a restaurant on site (it seems they offer reservations and course meals). The seared marinated mackerel set meal (1,000 yen) was delicious. I don't think it's enough for a growing child.

Of the two indoor baths, one [the themed bath] was drained and unusable. The other one was lukewarm for me, so I got out after 2-3 minutes. There were a few jets of water coming out of that one, but they were useless when aimed at my back. There is one open-air bath, and the water temperature is higher, so I used that one. Body soap and shampoo with conditioner were provided. I think it's good for people who prefer lukewarm water!

This time, I took a bath with an elderly person, and they were really happy that they were able to enjoy the hot springs at a leisurely pace! There was also a meal area at the entrance, so we used that instead, and the food was delicious, full of a homemade feel, and even better than we expected, and we were impressed with how good the value was. I would like to use it again.

The water quality is good. It's quiet because it's on a hill. Even on holidays, there aren't many people using it during the day. On weekends, the number of locals, including families, increases in the evening, but it's generally quiet.

The hot spring itself is very nice, and the rest area is spacious and relaxing. However, I was bothered by the poor manners of some of the users. Many people entered the bath without washing themselves, which was very unpleasant.
