♨️ Ikeda City Public Bath Tour ♨️ (Visiting local public baths) Jonan Onsen (1-2-14 Jonan, Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture) We visited shortly after it opened on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. 👼👼👼👼👼 Jonan Onsen offers hot baths, jet baths, reclining baths, sitting baths, cold baths, and saunas (fees apply). 🙆 Bathing fees are ¥520 for adults (high school students and older), ¥400 for junior high school students, ¥200 for elementary school students, and ¥100 for infants and toddlers. The sauna (¥250, including a bath towel) is an additional fee. 🙌 This sauna is a far-infrared sauna set to 91 degrees, which is great for working up a sweat. The cold bath is also very cold, and after a few baths with the sauna, I felt refreshed and my skin was smooth from the inside out. 👌 There are two steps to the right of the counter, leading to a tatami room? It seems they serve beer and food, so it might be a good place to stop by after a bath. 😋 (However, alcohol is only available to those who are walking. 😅) To get there, head towards Satsukiyama from the Jonan 2-chome intersection on National Route 176. It's about an 8-minute walk from Hankyu Ikeda Station. ✌️

Sunday morning baths are the best! A luxurious way to start the day. I enjoyed the morning bath on weekend mornings, especially on Sundays! Normally, I rush to the shower, but on holiday mornings, I'm truly blessed to be able to relax in a bath without the rush of time. Soaking in the bath in the crisp, clear air of the morning is exceptional, with the warm water gently enveloping my wakeful body. As I soaked in the tub, I felt refreshed, both physically and mentally, knowing that a new day was about to begin. Also, the fact that there were fewer people there in the morning was a major plus, allowing me to enjoy a quiet, tranquil atmosphere. The clean bathroom and the coffee milk I enjoyed in the rest area after my bath were also exceptional! A morning bath allows me to escape from my hectic daily routine and start my day off in top condition—the perfect way to refresh my mind and body. I plan to continue using it regularly and enjoy this luxurious experience. Thank you for the wonderful time!

The old lady at the front desk was intimidating, and I felt intimidated from the start, as if I was going to get in trouble. It was expected that towels and bath towels wouldn't be provided, but there was no soap, body wash, or shampoo. The hair dryer was the type that you put coins into. The bath area was full of regulars, and the stares were painful. There were three people with tattoos in the men's bath. It was completely unrelaxing. The bathtub is about 1.1 meters deep in places, so it's not suitable for families with children. There is a notice that elementary school-aged children and above should use the baths separately. I went in without realizing that the sauna had separate fees, and there was a sign on the sauna door saying that 250 yen should be paid at the reception. First-time visitors should never go.

The waterfall-style bath, which connects to an electric bath, a sitting bath, and a standing bath, allows you to feel various water pressures and stimulations. This public bath is located a little way from my old school route. Over 45 years ago, I had no interest in this facility, but when I go there now, it's a very nice public bath. (250413)

First visit. I thought it would be a typical Showa-era bathhouse, but I was wrong; the interior was relatively new and clean. It felt like a bathhouse deeply rooted in the local community, and I hope it continues to thrive. Free parking is available.
