Kagiya Hot Spring

The first floor is a parking lot and coin laundry, and up the stairs is the public bath on the second floor. There is also a parking lot on the west side, but it was under construction as of May 31, 2024. The adult bathing fee is 500 yen, and a small towel can be rented for 40 yen. There is a sauna room (additional charge) just to the left of the men's bath, but it was closed. The baths are on the left, from largest to smallest, and are a jet bath, ultrasonic bath, electric bath, and cold bath. There is a small waterfall bath on the right.

It's not particularly large, but it's clean and you can relax there. Some of the lockers don't have locks, so if you're concerned about that, it's best to leave your belongings at the reception. A nostalgic, old-fashioned public bathhouse frequented by locals 🛀 It's nice because regulars keep the washing area clean after each use, and the buckets are returned to their original positions 😃 I'm not a big fan of super sento (larger public bathhouses) because they're often in a terrible state after use. Note that there's no shampoo or conditioner provided, so buy some if you forget! It's a public bathhouse where you can relax and unwind.

There's a decent amount of parking available, both on the premises and across the road, so it's not a big deal. It's convenient for people off-site to park, which is great. From the front, the baths have a cold bath, electric bath, vibrating bath, jet bath, and waterfall bath. I think the water temperature is a warm 41°C? For someone likes it hot, it's a little unsatisfying. The sauna is currently out of service as of 2025/07/12.

This is a retro public bathhouse loved by locals. Unfortunately, the sauna is no longer available due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but it was clean and had a well-maintained atmosphere. There are two tubs, each large enough for two people, as well as an electric bath and a cold bath. With rising electricity and fuel costs, it will be difficult for it to survive, but I hope it will remain forever.
